Very much looking forward to that first MNF game. Jets by 20. 

Found it really strange that the Patriots cut Bailey Zappe. A lot of Pats fans were yammering about him starting over Mac Jones last year. Now he's released which leaves Jones as the only QB on the roster.

I did also. Either they have a big Plan B or are really confident that Jones is going to be the man after a rocky second season where he got more headlines for acting like a whiny bitch on the sidelines than anything he did on the field.

Sirius was saying Zappe likely would be resigned. I was surprised the Browns re-signed Mond, who is hot garbage, to their practice squad and didn't go after Malik Cunningham, who the Pats also cut. Cunningham fits the mold more like Watson/DTR than Mond does.

EDIT: Just saw the Pats signed both to their PS.

Just ordered Sunday Ticket with Redzone for $119 (thank you student discount)

Ready for a fun 18 weeks of football hopefully.

I will be following along these teams:

-Green Bay (became a Packers fan in the 90's because of Favre, then Rodgers from there - it'll be weird this year...)

-Cleveland (local team, all my friends are Browns fans)

-Jets (Rodgers!)

-Bills (love Allen and my moms family is all from Niagara Falls area)

-Chiefs/Chargers (primarily for Mahomes and Herbert as they are my QBs in our 2QB fantasy league)

Will probably catch a fair amount of Bengals, Eagles, Cowboys, and 49ers games as well for obvious reasons.

Two more days...

I hope Detroit is legit and this first game delivers.

We have Verizon and I looked at it today, even though we are existing customers we would have to buy a new phone/new line, which is BS.

My friend called them. They wouldnt budge. So he said, "Ok, we can make this easy and do it right now you and me. Or I can keep you on the line for the next 2 hours while I cancel my contract, and then sign up again thru my wife to get the new customer bonus of Sunday Ticket." The guy just gave it to him. for the year (which is what the promo is).

So even if you sign up and pay for the newly, more expensive, unlimited plan that it requires its still only for 1 year?

If I stay with that newly added, more expensive, unlimited plan even next year I would have to pay for Sunday Ticket?

Oh, dang, I didn't realize there were Verizon deals. My cell is handled thru work, but my wife has Verizon. We've considered their 5G wireless home internet because we can get it for only $25/month (I think) and it seems like we'd get Sunday Ticket for free.

I don't know about new customers (maybe less has to be bought), but for existing, you have to buy a new phone, and the phone has to be on the newly created "Ultimate Unlimited" plan, which is now a higher/more expsenive plan than the previous "unlimited" plans, by about $10/month more (the highest plan was $65, now this one is $75).

EDIT: Oh, and its only "qualified" phones, which I'm sure are the $1000+ phones that you pay for over 36 months or another $30 a month on top of the plan.

I dont know. I have YouTubeTV, so all of this was very easy for me lol. "Add ST to your plan for $250"...

I only care about Jags games and I live in the Jacksonville metro area, so I don't need Sunday Ticket.
