Not to mention he didn't know the Government has been spying on him for countless years, but he is ok with that, because he is a puppet that can't think on his own.
Also, LOL at the bolded part. I guess my post could have ended there.
lol you take it as someone pretending to be intellectually superior. Get over yourself, Vinny.

But to continue along the lines you're drawing: Yes, China spies on us. We spy on them, hell, we spy on everybody. We spy on Merkel when she goes to get her hair done ffs. Everybody spies on us, too.
Not everyone provides cell phones.
Hope this helps.

No, because that's stupid.
posted by HOF on coattailsMy bad, thought ya said you did. Just my belief, anyone who's willing to work at bars and deal with drunk people can't be too opinionated.
IMO- a cell phone company partially owned by it's government could be a security threat.
Of course, I think the government can manipulate the weather, so what the eff' do I know.....?

The rain thankfully helped a bit. Doesn't seem quite as humid.
posted by FatHobbitHow do you feel about a government with a massive data center that records all phone conversations and internet traffic. You know, just in case...
I choose to live here and have no problem with it. China spying, on the other hand...
Imagine that.....I'm sure it was only about the tariffs, right Con?

Trump will profit from Indonesian resort project that will get $500 million in Chinese loans in a deal sealed days before before his tweet ordering help for ZTE."

posted by SportsAndLadyI’ve been put at risk. I’m a US citizen. At least according to your dumbass quotes.
It's possible you have but unfortunately you're unable to grasp the broader view. Suppose that's why you're a good bar maid.
posted by SportsAndLadyI’m so nervous this Chinese company and the Chinese government are spying on me!!
What ZTE phone do you use?
posted by Con_Alma... and in return China will do away with the tariffs imposed on US agricultural products. Sound like a pretty good deal.
And apparently the tariffs were enough to throw any cyber security concerns about ZTE right out the window, too.
From David Gomez, a former FBI counterterrorism agent and cybersecurity strategist: "Wow. I rarely comment on POTUS tweets but this one deserves a response. Telecommunications companies like ZTE use their devices and networks to compile intelligence on behalf of the Chinese govt. That is just a fact."
Nada Bakos, former CIA analyst and fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, said Trump seemed to want to "trade on" national security: "You cannot trade on national security. Promoting jobs in China for a telecom company that is known to be beholden to the Chinese govt, puts US citizens and sensitive info at risk. There is no reward for the USG, national security can't be used as leverage."
And Josh Campbell, former FBI special agent, didn't mince words: "We don't need to just pump the brakes, we need to throw the car in reverse and immediately retreat from this ludicrous idea that we are going to enable a counterintelligence threat like ZTE. We should not be making life easier for hostile intelligence services."

This picture includes 3 of my latest purchases.
1) Hoop for the kids
2) 60" Woods RTR 60.40 tiller
3) New Holland Workmaster 33 w/ loader package.
Had lots of fun messing around with it today.
We have about 5.8 acres. 2.5-3 acres of pasture, 3/4 acre pond, and probably 2.5 acres of mowing. The tractor is bigger than we need, but it was cheaper than smaller models from competitors. I'd rather have too big than too little (twss). Our main uses will be:
- Tilling up 36x36 paddock/corral area. We have clay soil, and it gets harder than a rock
- Tilling up a 100x100 riding arena (constantly) to keep it nice and soft (daughter is in 4H... practice)
- Removing horse shit (see big pile in the background)
- And I'm sure there will be lots of other things that come up
For comparison, costs of tractors:
- New Holland 33HP - $19500 (0% for 60 mo)
- John Deere 24 HP - $19800
- Mahindra 24 HP - $22000 (0%)
- Massey 24 HP - $16600 (financing would have put total cost of tractor over $21000)
- Kubota 24 HP - $21000
