HAPPY TOOL DAY!

What are your thoughts on the album? The more I listen the more I love it.

Aside from Tool, I've been listening to Vince Gill's new album Okie and it is also excellent.

Amazing. Listened start to finish several times. I'm getting tickets for their upcoming tour tomorrow.

Shit. They're in Cincinnati in November. Saw them live in 2006/7 for 10,000 Days and it was incredible. Will likely try to get tickets to this show if they are reasonably priced.

The new Highly Suspect and Tool albums have been amazing. Wish I could go to a show for both but probably won't be able to. Also just been spending a lot of the last few months listening to fantasy football podcasts.

I really love Upperdrugs. I bought four tickets to each of the HS shows in Flint and Columbus, but only to resell. I can't go to either. 😩😩😭😭 Columbus is especially painful because as they're playing, I'll be like 5 minutes down the street from the venue at a wedding.

The wife and I have been listening to fo/mo/deep's "The Groovy Goodness" CD in the car for the past month.  Gets better every time we hear it.  About ready to get their new release "Syzygy".

Forgot to mention. Tool was on Tuesday. My mind was blown. I'd go again if I could.

Invincible, highlight of the set for me.

I'm a big fan of his.  Probably my favorite present day composer.  I've been enjoying the Seven Days Walking albums, but haven't listened to them all.  Divenire is my favorite of his releases.

I heard Elton John's "Empty Garden (Hey, Hey Johnny)" today for the first time in maybe 20 years.  I'd forgotten what an amazing song it is.  It's a tribute to John Lennon and probably the most moving tribute song I've ever heard.  Amazing lyrics and music.  Give it a listen sometime.

John Anderson's still got it. Looking forward to his new album in April if this song is any indication of the quality.

Working my way through this list, starting with #1.

Paranoid is a fantastic album. Currently listening to #2 Master of Puppets and I dig it.

Proud to say that I have 18 of the top 20 and at least 25 of the top 50. Didn't look at the whole list. Only missing Opeth and Venom from top 20.

I haven't listened to much metal in my life, but Tool is one of my favorite bands and I've liked most stuff I've heard in the past. I figured I should expand my horizons in the genre.

I like all types of music and I'm not the biggest metal head but most of the groups I like (Sabbath,Maiden,Priest,Megadeth and Metallica) were heavy on the list as for newer metal I like Tool,Mastodon and Gojira.

I got through Iron Maiden, 'The Number of the Beast' today. That was a great album, I think the only song I knew was Run to the Hills.

The title track, Hallowed be thy name and Children of the Damned are my favorites off of that album.
