It's been a few years since I last participated in one but I wouldn't mind getting some info on some and possibly competing this year.

Any within an hour or so from Cincinnati?

I think you mean "any in the Canton-Akron-Youngstown area?" Because that's the real question.

I will for sure be at Stebbins this week, the remainder of Spring/Summer tourneys will depend largely on our workload, and whether or not we will be required to work Saturdays. I try to make as many tournies as I can (just dunno when to call it quits). I never knew you wrestled Justin

Tiny,

Let me know if you find out you can go to Amelia next weekend. I haven't hit the mats in probably 5 years so I'd probably get my butt whipped but I am seriously thinking about entering.

Stretch out real good Justin.....Its a real pain to try to heal muscles after they are moved a way they aren't used to. Anyway, central Ohio has some nice open tournaments too:):):):).

Does St Charles still have their open tournament? I did it one year and really enjoyed it. Got a lot of matches in.

I believe Wooster is going to have an "old man" division. April 3rd.

Ohio TofC added an Open Division a couple of years ago. Since wrestlers will need an AAU card (and the adult cards are a bit more), the TofC has cut the entry fee for the Open Division to $40. TofC will be held on April 24 this year and you cna find more info at www.ohiotofc.com

I am really going to try my best to make it out on Saturday.

I might have to run to Dicks to pickup some shoes. I'm not sure if I'll be able to find mine since I haven't laced them up in probably 5 years.

I'm assuming I wont need a singlet? I know I don't have one laying around anymore. I don't have any headgear, either.

Gee, the more I think about this the more I think it's a terrible idea. :)

Justin, what size shoe? Singlets not mandatory usually but depending on how big you are I may have one you can use.

I wear a size 13 shoe. I'd be wrestling in the 197 class.

Are you saying that it isn't a bad idea? I very much disagree. :)

I took first over a buddy of mine. I pinned Monroe HS's coach in :29 then beat my buddy 4-2 for first. But I out weighed him by 30-35lbs.
