Number of 30+ match winners: 136
Number of 20+ match winners: 26
Number of 10+ match winners: 4
Number od 10- match winners: 0

Most wins coming in: 140 Alex Strayer (Hebron Lakewood - Senior) 54-2

Round 1 matchups of the same first name = 0

Number of girls wrestling = 1 Paige Nemec (Crestwood - Senior)

Number of Freshmen = 12
Number of Sophomores = 35
Number of Juniors = 68
Number of Seniors = 109

Lightest Senior = 103 Paige Nemec (Crestwood - Senior)

Heaviest Freshman = 160 Adam Kluk (Medina Highland - Freshman)

My favorite name in each weight class:

103 Paige Nemec (not too often will you see the name "Paige" at the Schott)
112 Dylan Stiffler (insert American Pie reference here)
119 Arden Bement (unusual, it stood out)
125 Sheldon Kegley (I have heard about 1,000 Keg references from people on this one, bet he has too)
130 Zane Zeman (again, different...the Z-man)
135 Eric Wolfe (this one is near and dear...the WOLFMAN!)
140 Felipe Martinez (I love the name Felipe...back in junior high when we had to do the "egg baby" project for health class I named mine Felipe)
145 Dylan Ice (the Iceman...how much do you love Top Gun?)
152 Skylar Wohlgamuth (this one jumped off the page...different and hard to pronounce all in one)
160 Brad Wukie (how can you not pick a guy named after Chewbacca?)
171 Travers Clark (another different one...almost looks like they should be switched to Clark Travers)
189 DJ Recknagel (sounded funny to say "You just got WRECK-nageled!)
215 Rylan Pyciak (Ive known one other "Rylan" and he was a 95 pound bodybuilder...Im really not joking about that...biggest 95 pound human I have ever seen)
285 TIE: Zach Sandwisch (a heavyweight named Sandwich? How can this not be mentioned?) AND Vincenzo Cardone (wonder if his family is in the waste management business? Im scared of this kid and I have never seen him...the name strikes fear.)

ps: You forgot Dip'N'Dots!

Predictions:

How many weight classes will have all four district sites represented? If any, which ones?

Which weight class, if any, will be a sweep for the semis? Which one(s)?

Also, which weight class can get all four district champs to the semis?

I realize by doing this, you get all four sites represented... just wondering if all four champs could do it.

I don't think these numbers are correct.

If you won 52 matches you fit into each of these listed categories.

Number of 50+ match winners: 4
Number of 40+ match winners: 54
Number of 30+ match winners: 136
Number of 20+ match winners: 26
Number of 10+ match winners: 4

I guess now I have to spell things like that out? I was assuming a base level of intelligence for the reader. Of course if you won 50 matches you would fall into each category...my 10 year old niece knows that.

If a base level of intelligence tells us "so", why not use that base level of intelligence to list is accurately?

You don't have to "spell it out" but if you choose to spend all that time compiling information why would not choose to list it correctly. I was trying to be nice in the approach I took pointing it out. My apologies if that attempt was not successful. Sorry you didn't choose to be nice in the response.

Your information is entertaining and I am thankful that you shared it with us all. It's an exciting time of year and these tidbits of information add to the enjoyment of the weekend.

OK...predictions:

103 - Not all 4 districts will be in the semis, no clean sweep by any district
112 - Not all 4, no clean sweep
119 - All 4 in the semis, no clean sweep
125 - Not all 4, no clean sweep
130 - All 4 in the semis, no clean sweep
135 - Not all 4 in the semis, no clean sweep
140 - Not all 4, no clean sweep
145 - Not all 4, closest to a sweep...Claymont district gets 3 to the semis
152 - Not all 4, no clean sweep
160 - Not all 4, no clean sweep
171 - Not all 4, no clean sweep
189 - Not all 4, no clean sweep...but I feel like Goshen has a shot
215 - Not all 4, no clean sweep
285 - Not all 4, no clean sweep...but I feel like Claymont can get 3

Being nice would be to just let it go and take the info as "fun" and leave it at that. I have now seen you on multiple threads doing this same thing...pointing out peoples mistakes and then acting high and mighty when they respond...please Troll elsewhere.

I promise you I'm not acting and I'm far from high & mighty.

I respectfully decline your request to troll ...anywhere.

We certainly do differ on what we believe being nice is. Maybe we can let it go on that agreement!!!

Again, my apologies if my attempt was not successful.

I agree that I made a major miscaculation on leaving Dip'n'Dots out. I even told myself to include it in every other piece of info and still forgot.

Here is my favorite Dip'n'Dots story:

I have coached middle school softball the past few years and after practice one day my assistant and I took his daughter and my niece to Dip'n'Dots in Pickerington. As we are eating, his daughter says, "I don't know why they call this the ice cream of the future...it tastes just fine right now!"

I almost spit Dip'n'Dots all over the table when she said that.

All I could think of was Cousin Eddie on the original Vacation movie..."I don't know why they call this Hamburger Helper...it does just fine by itself."

New stuff:

Total Wins and Losses by weight class (adding up each kid's record), with average record in parenthesis:

103 = 546-131 (34-8)
112 = 541-114 (34-7)
119 = 560-100 (35-6)
125 = 594-106 (37-7)
130 = 582-89 (36-6)
135 = 577-88 (36-6)
140 = 556-107 (35-7)
145 = 574-86 (36-5)
152 = 611-97 (38-6)
160 = 556-104 (35-7)
171 = 579-97 (36-6)
189 = 584-93 (37-6)
215 = 589-74 (37-5)
285 = 561-83 (35-5)

Total combined record of all wrestlers in d2 = 8,010-1,369
average record of a 2010 d2 state qualifier = 38-6

**disclaimer** I rounded on the records...I didnt want to include a bunch of decimals. Please note that this is not an exact average record.

Oh...and before I forget...DIP ' N ' DOTS!

I don't know....there are various methods of rounding....maybe you should be more specific so there's no confusion this time :)

There was confusion?? I though it was clear personally.

It's interesting to see that most of the records of the respective weight classes are very similar. A win or two might seem significant percentage wise but all in all it's pretty amazing how similar they are. I've never seen anybody do what ksig has and I wonder if there's even more info in them for use regarding these numbers.
