Why is this even being debated? I thought it was already established a long time ago that this team was a failure because of the loss to Boston to open the season.

Its funny that its Footwedge and some blogger that dislike the trade, but everyone else including NBA people love the Cleveland deal.

In the end this team will be better overall.

1-0 when Jamison starts. Suck it.

AV better shooter than Jamison? Not so sure I agree with that. Andy shoots the paint, and the paint nearly exclusively.

Just not sure why you're so dead set on this being a bad deal when he's played THREE games. You've stated your opinion, that's fine, quit trying to convince me chief, I won't decide 'till all the pieces have been brought together and worked together for what I deem a sufficient amount of time.
I stated that the deal will end up being bad if..

A. Jamison takes away minutes from AV...who is the better player, and
B. ZZ doesn't come back

You people act as if Jamison is Jordan reincarnated.

Couldn't stay away from my posts eh?

The team is implementing a solid 20-10 guy and getting their PG (who missed over a month of basketball) back into groove. They were making roster adjustments against two of the better teams in the entire NBA (Denver and Orlando) and against a CHA team that has owned Cleveland all year long with our old roster.

I could care less how this team is playing now, some people don't get boners about regular season records.

Your arguments are weak, please once again quit comparing a guy who shoots strictly layups and dunks against a guy that is around the perimeter. Jamison is going to have a lower FG % because his shot selection is much more difficult. I'll take a PF who can score at the rim (see Hornets game) and can step back to hit the perimeter shot any day over a PF who can only slash to the hoop for layups. Please don't say a guy is dwindling when he is putting up more ppg and rpg than his career averages while shooting at basically the same clip. Everyone knows AV is a better defender, this wasn't the reason why Cleveland brought Jamison in.

You've acted like a little bitch for the past two weeks, people are tired of it. We know you hate the trade, you won't talk anyone out of liking the trade. I am being blunt because its ridiculous how bad you are making yourself look like.

By footwedges theory, any player who has a worse shooting percentage than AV is worse than AV....not sure the actual shooting percentages are(and i'm too lazy to look them up), but I would assume Kobe, LeBron, DWade all have worse shooting percentages simply because they shoot shots outside the paint, which AV does not.

Yes, they all shoot worse than AV.

Andy is not an offensive player, not at all. There is a reason that his man sags off him to double up Shaq or LeBron every time, he has limited offensive skills, poor hands, no handle and a wildly inconsistent shot. Having Jamison on the floor is like having a running QB in football. It makes the defense stay honest and respect everyone on the offense and it takes away the man advantage that a defense gets when you play an offensive non entity like Andy. Everything that Andy, or JJ for that matter, lack when they plays power forward Jamison has in spades. I really don't know why anyone would continue to argue that this was a bad trade. There was a glaring hole at the power forward position from the offensive perspective, Hickson and Andy combine for 16 a game. Jamison averages 19 himself, what exactly is the downside? I don't really see it when you consider that Andy and JJ are still on the squad and Z will be bought out and be back.

They sag off of Jamison almost as much. Anderson does a lot of things better than Jamison. Andy should get 30-33 minutes...and Jamison maybe 15 minutes. I'm hoping in time, coach Brown figures it out...before the number 1 seed is blown.

No..shooting percentage is just part of the equation. I think AV is our second best player these days now that Mo is struggling from both ends of the court.

Andy gets quite a few more boards per minute than Jamison does. And from what I've seen Andy is twice as good on the defensive side of the ball. There just isn't any fire with Jamison.

Well....that's my take. Anyone want a piece of that action....send me a pm.

Here's the deal...Jamison starts in the first game of the playoffs. I lose. If he doesn't start game. I win.

Bets must be placed before the Boston game tomorrow...or no action.

Who wants a piece of the action? I'll take up to a dollar for each player...max investment for me is 50 clams (dollars). So hurry...make your bets. I'm putting my money where my pie hole is. All you brave souls have to invest is one lousy dollar!!

And no welching on the bets either. Anyone hiding from honoring their gambling debts should be banned permanently.

The starting 5 will include the King, Mo. DeLonte. Parker and Shaq. V , JJ or even Z could get the call as well...not to mention Gibson

Time to put up or shut up.

Send me a PM so I have a record of it. You're in for a diollar....oh..and if Janmisom is hurt, you get a push or no bet. I would't want to clean up that way.

Anyone else?

you must be watching different games than I am. Anderson does two things better than Twan, playing defense and flopping, none of which occur on the offensive end of the floor where the biggest deficiencies are for the Cavs.

After Jamisons first game, which is understandable why he struggled playing with a new team, he is 16-28 and 2-5 from 3. Pretty nice stats if u ask me.
