Dont forget to add Stein. Wasnt he the one that started the rumor that the Cavs were looking to deal Shaq? Gimme a break. These ESPN guys dont have a clue. I'll take Windys word over one of these guys any day of the week.

W&G:

The Cleveland in Lebron hating media are at wits end hoping and praying that somehow ...someway Amare doesn't end up in Cleveland.

Their collective bubble will burst and all their hopes and dreams of Lebron ending up a Knick will be destroyed ....

The same people that would be saying that Amare in NY or Miami would be a huge gain for them, will be saying what a horrible player, and addition Amare would be in Cleveland.

They will throw a collective hissy fit and be having temper tantrums all over the airwaves for days and days ...

I want it to happen just to watch them and the reaction they have to it ...it will be HILARIOUS !!

Of course it will be his last game as a Sun but who will he be playing his next game with?

I hope God blesses Cleveland for the second time ever. (the first being lotto pick for Lebron)

W&G:

Just now recieved a call from a guy I trust. Didn't have much tabgible to add ...but, just told me short and sweet that as of right this moment Dan Gilbert has personally injected himself into the discussions with Phoenix for Amare.

Not sure what exactly this means. If possibly he's trying to work somethig along the lines of a financial aspect to the trade talks that will positively impact the current talks and move Phoenix to go ahead and take our trtade proposal.

But, as I see it this could be nothing but good, and may swing the trade in our direction sooner rather than later.

I think this shows that we really need to just give Phoenix all we can give right now so that we can finally get an answer one way or another. We have Wshington sittingthere with somethiong we probably would like to pounce on, but don't want to move on to that until we know exactly where Phoenix stands.

The way I read it is ..Dan Gilbert is trying to set the timetable up so that all parties know that if Phoenix doesn't jump at what we have offered by a specific time, then it's off the table and we move to another alternative.

We simply can't wait on Phoenix past a certain point. It's my impression we would want something tangible back from the Phoenix ASAP.

I was just about to post the same thing. Good. Ferry deserves to have his answer before it ruins any chances of going after Jamison.

Why?

Their journalism the last couple days have been piss poor and the lack of credible information before talking is mind blowing.

ESPN want no part of STAT in Cleveland, and nearly all their reporting has been to steer things in another direction. I agree, should this deal go down, I want to beat the living coon dog shit out of everyone to get a little pay back for Jose fuckin' Mesa, Byner fumblin', John fuck me Elway all the way down to red right fuckin' 88.

Agreed. I wanted Ferry to put on the full court press, but Amare's agent just helped out a hell of a lot.

Everyone getting pissed with ESPN is stupid. The entire purpose of ESPN is to report things, that's all they're doing.

I have to preface this with a strong statement that nothing is official yet ...BUT, just got another call in and it seems that with Dan Gilbert's late input in talks with Phoenix ..we may very well have a commitment coming from Phoenix on an agreement in principle on a deal.

Something positive may be happening in regards to the Amare trade and him coming to Cleveland.. We're getting some very positive indications is what I was just told ... so hold tight.

Don't have a timeline or what the specifics might be at all. Just a phone call from the same guy I talked to about ten minutes ago and he said that we got some very strong indications that Phoenix is leaning with us.
