I know most of it is because they want to get their good kids challenging to get to states on opposite sides of the district brackets, but some of it is over the top. Some of these schools won't get some of their buble kids at district because of the disparity.
I think in D1 if Pick North would have went to their sister school PC like most expected to then the 3 Sectionals would have been more balanced.
Westland still would have been the tougher of the 3 on paper, but then PN really stacked it. I'm sure the Marsico-Murdock matchup came into play.
