I have believed the entire year that the only way he wouldnt come back for the 2010 season is if they won the Super Bowl.

He will be back to finish the last year of his contract and retire at the end of next year for good regardless of what happens.

Holmgren will take him for a year in Cleveland. Then after next year, Favre can collect his disability checks from a wheelchair from getting pounded into the turf.

I don't think it is a slam dunk, and the beating he took today might influence the decision.

The only way it is going to happen is if Childress tells him to show up in the third week of August without any training camp responsibilities like this year.

That would eliminate all the will he won't he.

I think he'll come back.

Team still has a chance to do it next year.

He can wait until mid-August and go again.

He'll retire a few days before the Super Bowl(so he can take as much attention away from the rest of the league as possible.)

He'll unretire 3 weeks before opening week(so he doesn't actually have to be in training camp and help his teammates)

He'll play for the Chicago Bears(because it will stab as many of his former fans in the back as possible.)

Fuck Childress. Favre is dumber than I thought if he puts his health on the line to play for these losers again.

If I were Favre I wouldn't come back without some offensive line important over the offseason. They got worked all game, I'm surprised Favre walked away.

The whole team is a joke. If he decides to play again he needs to go somewhere else. Why waste a year and get punished to have your cast choke all around you???

Well Adrian Peterson choked down the stretch, and the defensive secondary got worked today too. It's hard to say the defense wasn't impressive with holding down the Saints like they did, but I honestly wasn't impressed. Not too much pressure until the end of the game.

The Vikings are a better team, it's unfortunate they had to cough the ball up all the time.

Are you mocking me???? If you are, maybe you should think about the fact that they managed to piss away evry opportunity to actuall take that "should've been win" and make it an actual win. 5 turnovers, the single most bonehead penalty at the single most inopportun time it could possibly happen.

And just to piss in the wound, a ball hits T. Johnson in, of all the darned places, the HANDS!!!!! in overtime and he continues the trend of not being able to make a big play to save his life, and ooops drops the ball.....

If you think that this team is not a joke after the way they solely pissed the game away then you sir are absolutely out of your freaking mind.

If you weren't mocking me then I take all that stuff I said about you back. I'm still pretty drunk.
