The two against Gibson were the biggest horseshit calls of the night. The first one he never even touched Wade, and the official blew the whistle. The other the ball wasn't being controlled by anyone yet, Gibson tapped the ball between Wade's legs, and they called the foul.

The Cavs played like shit offensively again, but pulled it out. LeBron's steal was just a great play. Better than anyone will give it credit for. On NBA TV they were saying the Wade gave the game away, but that wasn't a bad pass, it was great anticipation by LBJ. Should have been an and-1 with the goaltending.
I'll agree with that. But had Wade not tried the behind the back wrap around, there wouldn't have been a steal.

BUT Bron made the play. Gotta give him credit.

Wade made that pass earlier in the game, not so good the second time around.

Was NOT a smart play by Wade in that situation to try a behind the back pass with LeBron guarding you. That's just bad bball IQ right there.

It was amazing that there was no goaltend at the end when LeBron got fouled. Oh well though, I expected a "ho-hum" effort tonight and was worried about a loss, but as usual, the Cavs and LeBron step up big w/o key pieces.

LBJ is your MVP.

Also impressed with Boobie tonight. Shaq had a nice game as well.

Good win for the Cavs. Kinda surprised the fans were chanting MVP for Wade, considering all the hoopla around him possibly leaving, and how uninterested he's seemed at times. I personally think that unless they sign someone, he'll be gone. But maybe he should stay in Miami to continue getting all those ridiculous calls. Man, that was some crap!

A lot of season to play, but the MVP race isn't even close right now.

You guys have a problem with Miami fans chanting MVP for Wade? Funny, you never had that problem while chanting MVP for LBJ before he ever won it.

LBJ deserved it the seasons everyone chanted MVP

Wade doesn't deserve it this season, its absolutely ridiculous for any fan outside of Cleveland to chant MVP unless they are LeBron fans.

Oh he did, did he? Too bad others that matter more than you and I thought otherwise. But I figured at least one Cleveland fan would be a homer and find a way around that one. Those fans pay good money to watch there team, they can say whatever they want. And what is so wrong about a fanbase chanting MVP for a player that indeed does have an MVP trophy in his house? Wade is the MVP of the franchise, just as Durant and Kobe are to their teams. It's a sign of appriciation from the fans. Some of you guys are becoming comical when it comes to LBJ. Sometimes I think it is an honest love affair. You back him up so quick and one must walk on egg shells when speaking of LBJ.

Laker fans still chant it for Kobe, even though he's only going to win 1 MVP award, or as I see it 1 lifetime achievement award in his entire career.(Although, I do think he should have won it over Steve Nash, but it is what it is).

No love affair, just stating the truth. If you can't handle that then that's your problem.

No player deserves the MVP chant right now outside of LeBron James. Do you honestly think Wade deserves the MVP chant for carrying the Heat to a whopping 23-21 record?

You are right, fans can chant anything they want I have no problem with that. But those players don't DESERVE it this season mainly Wade.

With the Lakers fanbase, it's a sign of appriciation. If the day comes when LBJ isn't the reigning MVP, fans will most definitely be chanting MVP.

But the Lakers are still 33-11, 1st in their conference. Those are credentials that help you win the MVP, not a team barely over .500.

I don't have a problem with it. I'm merely playing devils advocate. I wasn't the one calling it absolutely ridiculous for another fanbase to chant MVP. Seems as though you're the one that has a problem with it. I do have a problem with somebody saying a fanbase shouldn't chant MVP because the player isn't, when this fanbase did the exact same thing for years before LBJ won it. I don't have a problem with the fanbase doing that. I have a problem with somebody being a hypocrite.

LeBron is the only player that deserves to be the MVP. I've never once given the indication that I think Wade deserves it, because he doesn't.

What does that matter now? You've already stated it'd be absolutely ridiculous for anybody else to chant MVP unless its for LeBron.

I believe people are saying that fans shouldn't chant MVP when the player isn't even in consideration. I'm not sure when Cavs fans started chanting for LeBron... but LeBron was in the conversation before he actually won the award... it's not like he just came on all of the sudden. He was producing and really the only thing holding him back was the team W-L wasn't high enough in the end.

Wade, really isn't in consideration at this point, I think that's people gripe.

It's the same as when raptor fans chant MVP for Bosh... ya he's good. Ya he's an all-star. But he is nothing close to an MVP at this point in his career.

I see nothing wrong with people chanting MVP for Kobe, even though I don't think it's really that close at this point. But for Wade? Pierce? Bosh? No thanks.

All I know is Kobe Bryant is the only player to have the Boston Garden and Madison Square Garden Crowds chant MVP for him.

The same can be said for Wade too though. He's had outstanding individual numbers, but he lacked a good team around him so it hurt him in voting. Last year was a great example. Wade had arguably better numbers than LBJ, but LBJ had a lot better team.

LBJ is in the lead and has a nice lead. That can't be argued. I have no problem with some of the players getting MVP chants, because that is what they are. They've won MVP's before, and it's a sign of appriciation from their fanbase. I don't think many of the fans will honestly tell you Wade and Pierce deserve the MVP. They just chant it for that player because they've proven to be one and are to that fanbase.
