Welp I am biased so I will go with the Cavs as well. :) I've actually never been to a game at another arena so I can't really give an honest answer.

detroit fans are bandwagon fans just like almost everyone else. the end of last year nobody was at the games, id say they are more loyal than cavs fans though.

Cleveland has the best home court advantage but I would say that Utah has the best fans.

Portland has great fans. Cavs fans get louder than anyone, but they also get scared (and quiet) easier than anyone, which, of course, you can't blame them for.

Cavs right now because they haven't won. So their fans are more into it on a night-by-night basis.

Boston fans are great in the playoffs if it's a huge game but they've been there so many times it's not the same thrill for a big regular season game.

Kings had the best fans during their run in the early 2000s.

People are saying the Browns have the best fans over on the "best fans-Ohio" thread?? I'll take a foam finger thrown at me over a beer bottle any day.

I think it's funny that we have to choose from the 4 best teams in the League.

Browns had a legit reason to be upset, Laker fans were just being a bunch of whiners because Kobe was being exposed as a terrible shooter. When Kobe doesn't get the calls, he sucks, and even when he gets the calls he still has multiple games shooting under 30%.

The Q (or when it was known as Gund Arena) was darn near empty when the Cavs was struggling. True fans are the ones who support their team even through hard times. Utah is a good choice and Oklahoma City has great support.

Sacramento and Portland are solid, and when they're good they create the toughest atmospheres in the NBA. Right now, I'd say Cleveland, but if Lebron leaves it will go back to being dead every night, so it's tough to say they're the best overall.

+1. They've been selling games out there before Lebron was born and before people in NEO discovered they had an NBA team a few years ago.
Same with the Celtics.

It's either Sacramento, Portland or Utah. Arco is packed almost every night, no matter what product is on the court, and has been for well over a decade and a half. These fans just love their team. The same can be said of Portland and their fans at the Rose Garden and Utah, who has been filling its seats in the Delta Center with loyal fans for two decades now. This is largely because none of these three cities have professional baseball or football. Their basketball teams are it.

If I were to make a selection, I'd have to go with the product that Paul Allen has helped perfect in the Pacific Northwest. Portland's Rose Garden, especially when the franchise greats such as Bill Walton, Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, Sabonis, Rasheed Wallace, Steve Smith, etc. are on the floor leading the Blazers to glory, is the toughest road game in the NBA. Hands down, IMO. Dating back to the Blazers' old arena, Portland holds many of the NBA's all-time sellout records. I dare anyone to look back at the Rose Garden's atmosphere in the late '90s, early 00s when the Blazers-Lakers were doing battle and tell me that any other arena matches that intensity, that fervor for basketball. It was incredible. Like I said, the loyalty of Sacramento and Utah's fan bases is right there. These are the three best in the game.

One certainly could have argued Boston if they were still in the Garden. No place still standing on earth, outside of perhaps Duke's Cameron Indoor Stadium or Kansas' Allen Fieldhouse (due to their size and ability to reverberate sound), could match the home court advantage that the Garden had. The Celts' fan base has just never been the same since the last of the '80s greats left Boston. So they don't make the cut. Also, this city IS Boston Red Sox baseball. Not Celtics basketball. Unlike Portland, Utah and Sacramento, who eat, sleep and drink basketball.

Comparing Cleveland fans to any of the above is laughable.

I'd say Utah also.

Although I love that people think Cleveland fans are bandwagon because they didn't pay money to see terrible teams. Just because they don't go to all the games doesn't mean they aren't fans. I've only been to 2 games this year. I guess I'm not a very big fan.......haters :)

^^People think Cavs fans are bandwagon because most of them came out of the woodwork when Bron was drafted.
