Idiot. He thinks Cleveland fans hated his son because he was from Michigan....had nothing to do with his performance on or off the field.

Braylon never seemed to get it when he was in Cleveland. It must be genetic.

What a lucky MF...the Browns did him a huge favor trading him to a contending team, but watching the Browns 'post trade', it seems it was addition by subtraction. i'm just waiting for Edwards to drop a pass with the game on the line for the Jets. NY media will eat him up. And his dad won't be able to use 'Michigan" as an excuse.

I hated him because of the U of M connection, oh and the fact he played for the browns. Glad to see him doing well in NY. (for now)

When Braylon had the big year and the Browns went 10-6, Browns fans loved him and cheered for him so sorry dad, there goes your theory.

He isn't doing "well". He hasn't helped do anything in the playoffs. I disliked him b/c he can't catch.

Edwards isn't doing anything great in NY, they are winning due to their badass running game and defense.

No one hated him during the season where everyone was good but jesus when you drop pass after pass people are going to get pissed.

I could care less where he went to school. Dropped passes and attitude were his downfall. All browns fans loved him in when he tore it up in 2007 with 16 TDs. His dad's full of shit.

Can't speak for everyone but I didn't like him because he dropped eleventy bazillion passes. He had one good year then turned into "Hands of Stone". Hands of Stone = good nickname for a boxer,wide receiver not so much.

It was both.

Obviously there were plenty of jackasses who were biased against him because he went to UM, and that's sad (OSU fans that appeared after 2002 aren't the most rational people).
But also, obviously, the vast majority of it came from him severely underperforming.

I'm as Buckeye s they come, but the college rivalry gets checked at the door once they are in the pros. Likewise with someone being a favorite college pl;ayer....although I think people will follow or root for someone they liked in college.

Santonio Holmes was one of my favorite Buckeye players....but now that he plays for the Steelers, he is anathema.

I hate all Michigan players in the NFL unless they play for the Browns. I hated Braylon because he sucks. He and his father are idiots.
