How has this Elliot dude not been called out for talking about LeBron hand picking his head coach? First of all, you don't think the best player on the team and your franchise player has a say in who the coach should be? And second, and most importantly, I'd like to see your proof about LeBron wanting Silas out. As far as I know it was pretty well known that LeBron liked Silas, there was talk that he may leave Cleveland after his rookie contract because of them firing Silas.

As for tanking the season, who cares? I'd say they probably did to a point, but they weren't going to be good anyways. Why the hell not tank it when you have a guy like LeBron coming in--ESPECIALLY when he's from down the road. That's a franchise dream because you get a perennial All Star and one of the best guys to ever suit up and that puts fans in the seats. Plus he's a local legend, which only puts more fans in the seats. I'd tank a season for that too if I owned a franchise, especially when my team was going to suck anyways.

There's nothing wrong with tanking a season. Our product enabled us to win 4 NBA Championships. It also made our Coach look like a fool complaining the legitimacy of Lakers getting Gasol.

Love,

Isn't the draft a lottery, meaning it wouldn't have guaranteed them a #1 pick?

Yeah because the NBA would really fix the lottery so LeBron can go to Cleveland. They really want him in Cleveland...Right.

Maybe if New York or LA had a chance at the #1...
those teams dont need help being popular, they are in the biggest cities in the league.

but i wouldnt be surprised if the lottery was found out to be fixed.

Hey GUTTERBALL, I didn't exactly come up with this theory. It is based on an article from Fanhouse.com. If you would have read my first post you would have seen the link.
