Good lord are you kidding me with these bullshit moves...Mark Grudzielanek? How is that going to help us become a better team? If we're throwin in the towel before the stinkin season starts, why not just give a young minor leaguer the shot of coming up and trying to prove himself. Jesus I swear it's hard being an Indians fan the past years.

Chaire Holloway: So, what team do you play for?
Jake Taylor: The Indians.
Chaire Holloway: Here in Cleveland. I didn't know they still had a team?
Jake Taylor: Yeah. We have uniforms and everything, it's great.
Chaire Holloway: I heard that Ball players make a lot of money, how much you make?
Jake Taylor: I make the league minimum.

I'll still root for the young guys on the field, not so much for the guys in the FO and our doucher of an owner.

This is what pisses me off about baseball owners, and their crying about no salary cap. Look at the attendance numbers between 1995 and 2002 when we were a solid franchise, we were going way over what the league average was for attendance. Of course we know why, but for some damn reason, the Dolans and Shapiro have no clue that winning sells more seats than losing. We were almost on par with the Yankees attendance in that era, and still, while we were winning divisions and pennants, we refused to resign our star players, and watched the team fold into what its become today. We trade away not one, but two, Cy Young pitchers, when its proven that you can't win in the A.L. without solid pitching. We also let our #3 pitcher go to a division rival on top of all that, and they are bitching that they are losing 14 million dollars? Sign some real talent, quit trading it away, and maybe you will get more than 1.7 million asses in the seats of your stadium. Sometimes I wish Dolan would croak and Mark Cuban would want to buy our joke of a franchise, at least he has the balls to spend money.

Winning is nice.

A new ballpark, no LeBron/Cavs sucking, no Browns, and a better economy all helped too.

Browns were still there, and the Cavs were decent when all this stuff was unfolding.

Would rather have Mrs. Dorn. With this roster, someone has to take on the role of slumpbuster.

Face it with the rules in Baseball the Indians are nothing more than a glorified farm team for the ones with the big money. Baseball is a great sport MLB is an awful product.

Forgot about Dorn because he's only high-priced.

And you have nary a clue that most of baseball revenues come from the advertisement market without any legitimate salary cap.

Attendance is just one part of the financial equation.
