Okay, the number of topics responded to Today Now surpasses the number of posts responded to on JJHuddle. Congrats to all for making it happen! Freehuddle has 12 topics (oops, 13 now, counting this one) compared to 12 for the JJhuddle.

Keep up the good work! Make That Change!

Kinda figured this would happen. Went on Huddle this morning and there were only 6 replies that I had not seen from last night.
If you build it they will come!

And I think the issue is not the $12 in itself - everyone can afford that. The issue is, No forums that I have ever been on, charge a fee. Its the principle of the thing. And once you start charging a fee, its a slippery slope. Too easy to raise those fees every year - just like pay to play.

Maybe the JJHuddle will realize just how expendable they are. Frankly, I like this new site better. Huddle became too commercial, with pop-up ads, ads right in the posts, and everything. I didn't like that. I thought it was fine when you could put up a banner ad at the top, which I used to do. At some point, that wasn't enough money for them, and they cut guys like me out. Saved on my advertising budget, but I'd have been glad to continue supporting them.

Randy, I agree with you 100%. It isn't the money, it is the principle. Once you start challenging the principles of wrestling coaches, you are going to pay the price.

$12 does not even cover gas to and from practice one night! Or entry into one tournament or even one lunch. If they would have just said, we need some contributions to update a server ! I would have gladly forked over a few beans for them.

They should have plenty of money, what with all the ads they have strewn all throughout the forum.

Also to mention, only one post since 11/11 on the track and field page at paypay. No new topics, only one post.

I wonder what decision maker at Ohio High is getting fired. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to buy jjhuddle has not had a good week.

I think the folks at jj huddle are getting what they deserve for biting off the hands that feed them. If it weren't for all the posters(and readers) they would not be able to sell all their space for advertising. RIP jj........................

At the bottom of the page, I want a link BACK to the forum home. Not the site home, but the particular forum I am on. Heck, give me a drop box to choose where to go, but have it default to that which I'm reading.

Other than that... I love you.

Hoping so. Part of the reason I left the wrestling forum over there was due to the lack of coverage from my area. Not really sure if it will be the same thing here. but there is a site that covers my area.

Plus I was finally banned over there for Inappropriate posts, which I deserved and loved doing.
