Perhaps I misinterpreted what you were implying, but I agree with you 100% that there are people of all persuasions that would not vote for her solely because she's a woman. I'm not sure "plenty" is the word I would use., but you did say "not a lot" also.

I also agree with iclfan2 in that there are people who voted for her simply because she was a woman.... and to that I might use the word "plenty" from my experience.

I'm sure some have throughout history, especially in the 19th and early 20th century.
I don't mind her putting out this book. Again, 2016 was a historic election and the greatest upset since 1947. The historian in me likes that we have her official account out there now.
You can disagree with her sure, but I don't fault her for putting out. Plus, this is most likely, her last act.

I don't mind her putting out the book. She has the freedom to capitalize on that story. I haven't read it, nor will I read it, but a lot of the excerpts I am seeing pretty much confirms why most people hated her. The lack of self awareness is pathetic, and anybody who reads that book and still can't figure out why people didn't vote for her brings the lulz.

I quit watching those 'award' shows years ago...nothing good about a bunch of self-indulgent douche bags congratulating themselves on how well they portray a 'character'.

One time I was glad that AT&T Uverse is not showing CBS at the moment....

Yea, I thought it was a bit much, Spicer was there making fun of myself. It is a joke folks, chill.
I didn't watch any of it, started Ken Burns Vietnam and then HBO's the Deuce. But, I am glad the shows that won did win. They were all good.

I read about it this morning but didn't think much about it; until I heard people during lunch at a local restaurant bitching and moaning about it. We just kinda smirked while listening to them and almost started laughing. They weren't trying to be quiet and it was almost like they thought everybody around them was idolizing them for their thoughts. Hard to explain but it was certainly funny!

While some celebs are very smart (James Woods supposedly has an IQ of like 180...never heard much of his politics), most don't have a college degree in anything like business, economics or hard sciences....most have never accomplished anything in an actual business (beyond sorting the mail)......

.....Not exactly the people you want explaining how the world works to millennials.

I actually read the article. The description of the author I found to be hilarious:
