The Columbus City League doesn't have any powerhouse wrestling teams but they got it right. The coaches seed and set up all the teams duals. Then the first week of league duals everyone wrestles at their assigned site 4 of them. All the winner of each site all advance to the finals round. Likewise, all the 2nd place teams wrestle at a site, 3rd place teams at a site and the 4th place teams wrestle at a site. When the second week of league duals are done we have a League Dual Team Champ and every team wrestles for placement. At the end of the season we have our League Championships where the top 6 individual wrestle for placement and a team tournament champion is crowned. That's 4 points of required league wrestling and the coaches have control of their other 16 points to schedule. If the City League can get it right I don't know why the OCC can't. I'm saying that each OCC division can have the dual meets and end of season tournament. One difference is that the coaches in the City League control the seeding and team assignment for the most part.
