All Central District head coaches are sent a weekly email survey (usually on Sunday night) to complete and cast their votes. The CDWCA board sends the results over to our Dispatch contact on Monday for Tuesday publication.
Coaches are also encouraged to send weekly feature story ideas and Athlete of the Week nominations, which the Dispatch has requested, to CDWCA board members:

When's the next coaches poll ?

The thought is that once we get through the sectional draw and the coaches do their official rankings, these rankings quiet down a bit. Once sectionals hit, the rankings are handled on the mat!

I wouldn't mind one last set of rankings - if nothing more than individual - in order to print something the week of sectionals. Get some interest going. Maybe?

Yea, one more would be nice...I think there has only been one Individual ranking in the paper this year. We have had a couple of team rankings.
