Fab1b, I hate crying at work but this hit so close to home you can't imagine!
I work as the Construction Manager on the Cleveland public schools. I have had my hand in 17 new schools and NEVER once would allow the project team to Value engineer out the Wrestling Mats. People on the design team say " But they don't even have a wrestling team! " I say look in the record books going back to the beginning of the state tournament and you will find that Cleveland had a legacy of Team Championships that have all been forgotten, except for a few. Give a kid a chance!
