Worse way to lose a game - Duke losing to Miami on an 8 lateral miracle last play, which took over a minute or Michigan losing to (rival) MSU on a returned TD blocked punt?

Both Duke and Miami don't matter to college football.

UM/MSU had implications.

I tell you what the most memorable loss to me was 2007 Illinois vs. Ohio State at the Shoe. I was at that game and it was frustrating as hell to watch Juice Williams and Mendenhall get a 15 yard gain on 3rd and 14 every time.

Florida loss is a close second.

Implications aside, I sitll think UM/MSU is the worst way to lose out of the 3. You also have the FSU blocked FG to lose the game.

The biggest difference with the UM/MSU game was that it was caused by a huge coaching mistake. All UM had to do was have the QB run around for a few seconds then throw the a long pass out of bounds, and the game would have been over.

UM was heartbreaking but Duke loss was played well on that insane play but obvious block in the back on the 16 opened up the play to work

Duke didn't have the game in the bag against a Top 10 team with a potential playoff hopes on the line.

UM loss actually has an impact on the post season. Duke will go to a lesser week of christmas bowl, so it's not that big of a deal.

Dumbest Loss Award goes to the brainiacs on the sidelines at Minnesota. If Jerry was watching that game somewhere they probably killed him.

As a Michigan fan, I was happy with their ignorance.

For the topic at hand, for me obviously it was the State game. I was at that game in that endzone. That one hurt on so many levels. I would say the FSU/GT game is worse than Duke just because of post season implications. Also, throw Wazzu/Stanford in there. Wazzu played a great game and just barely came up short. Their kicker was on point all night until that last game.

As a skunk-weasel Hater I was appalled by their decision. A message will be sent to Harbaugh this week when the Buckeyes nuke Minny out of The Shoe. And that message will be...Your little run of being "The New Tough Kid that just moved in" is over. You've been exposed, now let the adults (OSU & MSU) talk.

Michigan easily. To lose a game on the last play because of a dropped snap is beyond terrible
