Novice State at the University of Findlay and host even more novice
wrestlers this year than last year. The tournament will be taking place on
Sunday February 21, 2016 with wrestling starting at 9:00 a.m.
Ohio has a rich history in wrestling and this history all begins with a
novice wrestler. Our goal is to encourage novice wrestlers by having them
take part in a state tournament where they will be able to wrestle against
other novice wrestlers. We were honored that over 650 wrestlers took part
in the 2015 Ohio Novice State and cannot wait for the 5th Annual Ohio
Novice State!
We will have more mats that last year, offer OAC seeding points and also
will provide awards for the top 6 wrestlers in each weight class!
