Few things you should know

I'm not a fan of domesticated birds
My patches are custom made for me, with my specifications and material
Cone type patches suck, cheap looking and uncomfortable to wear
Most likely he is only wearing it for the link between a patches, pirates and parrot. This is very narrow minded individual when you consider so many famous and historical individual that wore patches or individual with just one eye.
The way he wearing the patch is the worst, just not cool
It’s cool that he has the self confidence to wear a patch but I assume it only for show

The are not really glass any more, clear plastic that is heated and formed to fit the eye socket and colorized in layers for depth to match as best as possible to the other good eye. Heat treated each time to make a very hard plastic prosthetic eye. The answer is Yes and I can take it out for cleaning.
Because of the damage to the eye lid, reconstructive eye bone socket and part of the upper eye brow area the scaring and disfigure was IMO uncomfortable to the public.
I wear a patch every day or when I’m out in the summer I wear very dark sun glasses.
