We saw yesterday what he can do inside the 20. Will it be throwing for TD's? Maybe, maybe not, but he's a threat to move the chains with his feet. My biggest concern, as Al Bundy mentioned on the other thread, is his grasp of the playbook. Are they going to have to condense it to 15-20 plays or does he know it?
15 to 20 plays. LMAO. He sure had trouble grasping the playbook yesterday didn't he?

I mean Manziel might not be a better passer but he at least has good speed and can make plays happen in that way. Hoyer has played 1 potential playoff team in the Bengals in the last 7 games with a statline that reads 4 TD's & 9 INT's. You cannot continue to start him
This just in...Manziel has the stronger arm and is 3 times more accurate than the guy that will be carrying the clipboard Sunday.

You were only 8 games short in your prediction.

Were you the guy who tried to hug Johnny last weekend?

Apparently you don't understand what "politically correct" means. On top of everything else, Johnny Football knows how to handle the press with dignity...something Hoyer doesn't know how to do. The fuggin clown said that he was shocked that he was pulled. Hey Brian, not nearly as shocked as the fans that have watched your 27th qbr train wreck rating the you've "entertained" us with this year.

Another Hoyer nut hugger chiming in. What entertainment folks. So sorry that the 27th rated q'back is headed to the bench.

If they are both in the middle of the pack, then I say you can trade down one of them to a low first and go with a RT.

If they have both and stay around mid 1st round, you are right, I say we go 2 defensive players and get a right side OL in the 2nd round.
Jshmuck talking about the draft now that his boy has been benched. Hilarious.

I'll try not to quote him. The delusional stupidity amuses me. I knew that some Browns (in his case) "fans" were delusional but had no idea some could reach his levels.

Found this on Reddit....and think it belongs here. An unbiased source explaining a picture of Johnny on the phone after his TD drive.

For those of you who want context:

Johnny Manziel is an NFL rookie who got to play in a professional game for the first time yesterday. In college, he was an award-winning, "put the team on his back" type of athlete who earned notoriety for his arrogant, "no fucks given" attitude on and off of the field.
The franchise he plays for has kept him on the bench all season, as is the "traditional" strategy for getting a rookie quarterback acclimated to professional competition.
Yesterday his team's starting quarterback was struggling, and in an attempt to change the momentum of the game, he was subbed in for the starting quarterback.
The image you see is him after successfully leading his team to a much-needed touchdown shortly after taking the field. He is on a phone talking to team personnel that are situated indoors, away from the field.
Fortunately (I say fortunately, because I was rooting for the opposite team), his smug grin was wiped clean from his face as the Bills continued to pound the ball down the throats of the Cleveland Browns, leaving Johnny Manziel an impossibly short amount of time to lead a comeback. With under three minutes remaining in the game, he was then laid out by a big, bad man named Kyle Williams, who knocked him over like a plank of wood

An unbiased Bills fan explaining to non football people what the picture is.

I would guess yesterday was a microcosm of what we should expect from Manziel. Leading 80 yard drives, then giving up a touchdown on a bad play(let's be honest, the officials blew that call, it was a fumble).

Yep. He's going to have plenty of "wow" and "wtf" moments. Let's hope there's more "wow's."

That might have been the first play in years the Browns "got the call". Teflon John. Jerrod Cherry was acting as if you have to run a vanilla offense this week if Johnny is in. It looked like he was audibling fine yesterday. I don't care who is at QB as long as we have a chance to win. The defense is constantly putting the offense in position to score and they are coming away with field goals. Last week we got away with it, this week we didn't. I wanted the home town boy to be the savior of Cleveland, but his losses are bad and his wins aren't very good either.

It was just very comical to me that you said from an unbiased source...who was a bills fan

And that you seemed to be cheering against manziel..? As a Browns fan..?

unbiased...as in...isn't a Hoyer or Manziel GUY like our fan base has divided into all season. I have never cheered against any QB of the Browns. Winning is better than anything.

Agreed. Don't who is back there, as long as he isn't raping college chicks in bathroom stalls. Just want to see wins.

The FG's (and getting knocked out of FG range after taking a sack), after Haden picking the ball off inside of the opponents 30 in two consectutive weeks are maddening.

I think that's most the Johnny nuthuggers who are cheering against Hoyer. They are Johnny "fanboys" (not true fans) and will stoop so low as to wishing injury on a Browns player just so they can wank to the sight of #2 on the field.
