Not talented enough? Based on what? His college numbers? 12,000 new Browns season ticket holders think you're full of it.

Don't need to hear your concession speech. Lick your wounds and come back to fight another day.

...based on the coach not choosing him. You keep referring to QB stats as if that's why he wasn't chosen. You don't know that.

What "concession speech?" You're the dumb mother fucker who wants to bench a WINNING QB in favor of a half pint rookie who has done NOTHING.

Truth be told, I think your "Lil Johnny" will be lucky to last 5 years in the league before he gets split in half.

Since you're not very bright, I'll repeat it ONE last time....I can't speak for everyone here but I think most believe that Hoyer is a stopgap and isn't the long-term solution. Unlike you, I think that Manziel can/will show some "flashes" but his shelf life for the league isn't likely very long.

They (Browns) have their first QB who has shown fairly consistent success for a nice stretch and dumbasses like you and your "masses" (see Chuck Booms and Cleveland sports talk radio...an army of FIVE) want to blow it all up on a hope and a prayer because of "potential." What was done at Texas A&M isn't going to translate to instant superstardom at the NFL level.

This team is in a placeoff race. There's no time for "experimenting", dumbass.

Don't care what his reasons are. Doesn't matter what his reasons are. Most coaches make their decision based on performance. Well, in the so called "open competition". he didn't select the highest producer. Instead he selected the undrafted FA who's been cut by 3 different NFL teams. Funny how some people think, isn't it?

LOL.. full meltdown alert. Those diet pills making you cranky? LOL. You go from, Manziel is the quarterback of the future to he'll be broken in half. Which is it? And you call Me a dumbass.

Agreed....so the back up didnt convince him otherwise. Even if the deck was stacked against him. He wasn't good enough to overcome the odds. It's really that simple. Assuming it was based entirely on stats is nothing more than an assumption on your part.

P.S. It's not always about QB production but being able to have a person that lends to greater team production. A lot of things factor into that.

In other news, Hoyer is looking for Carson Palmer type money. Good luck with that. Farmer (and Haslam) have already proclaimed this to be Johnny's team in the future.

I would say that would be good luck. Sign for a bunch of money and then not have to play and still get a bunch of money. That sounds like heaven.

Have you ever rehabbed from a major injury to try and come back and play at a professional level?I

If you've ever heard an athlete describe their rehab process, I'd hardly call it heaven.

Many an athlete has said they would rather have practiced every day like normal than have to get surgery and rehab.....they say that is like H E L L.

I have rehabbed a major injury and I was saying that tongue in cheek full of sarcasm.

Backup QB may be the best! The third string guy many times runs the scout offense and goes against the first defense, and the starter gets the vast majority of snaps in practice and the backup barely gets any!
