Was Palmer there for Week 3? I know Floyd had a good game, and I thought Palmer was already hurt.jmog;1661951 wrote:My once deep/good WRs now are looking in shambles.
AJ Green is likely out with turf toe.
D. Hopkins plays the #2 team against WRs in Indy
K. Wright has had exactly 1 good game
K. Allen has been a huge disappointment (1 good game)
M. Floyd was great when Palmer played, has been non-existent since.
I have to play 2 of these guys this week...
He seems like an extreme boom-or-bust player.
Week 1: Good
Week 2: Bad
Week 3: Good
Week 4: (Bye)
Week 5: Bad
Based on your guys, I'd still put in Hopkins and hope for 5 catches, hoping for maybe one going for a long gain. TD would be a bonus.
Other than that, I'd probably go Wright. He's only had one game under 7 targets, though your yardage won't be much.
Allen has been Wright minus the TDs this year. Short yardage per catch. Plus, I don't like his matchup this week. I'd take Wright against Jacksonville's secondary over Allen against Oakland's.
If you need a home run, I might still use Floyd and hope for a good game, but obviously he's high-risk-high-reward.
I don't love Hillman, but he did manage over 4.0 YPC over 15 carries against a decent Arizona run D, though one of those was a 16-yarder, which skews the results a little. His lack of use in the passing game on a record-setting passing day for Manning makes me nervous, too.CCRolly;1661952 wrote:Better Flex in PPR League? Ronnie Hillman @ Jets, Darren Sproles vs. NYG, DeSean Jackson @ Arizona, or Roddy White vs. Bears.
Sproles has done a good job with the touches he's gotten (almost 7 YPC and close to 200 yards on 16 snags), but for some reason, the Eagles aren't giving him an expanded role. With Shady's woes this year, I would hope it happens, but I wouldn't count on it this week. It's a good matchup, though, so I guess it's possible he breaks one off.
I'm not high on DJax, typically, as he's like Floyd this year. Boom-or-bust. However, with that Arizona pass D being what it is, I actually like him this week.
I wouldn't touch White until he does something. He's been a TD-dependent play, and even then, he hasn't been thrilling.
All in all, I'd definitely go DJax as the most confident play among the four. After that, I would guess Hillman because of the touches he'll probably get, but I wouldn't love doing it.
