Interesting no Brandon Jennings on your list. Since he is the only one so far to do it.

It's going to be either Kobe Bryant or Lebron James.

I went with Lebron even though Kobe chucks about 30 shots a game, so if he somehow shoots better than 50% one night, and gets a bunch of BS calls to get him to the free throw line, it's pretty easy for him to do.

Technically, if they score the 50th point past 12am, it would be :)

I'm not sure what time the game is on though...

BTW, I don't think LeBron will be the first.

I'd go with Kobe or Wade, simply because they throw up shots at an alarming volume.

LeBrick. With that new shot-clock operator they should get a lot more possessions. Since his teammates wanna keep him happy in Cleveland they'll just give him the ball and get outta the way....

9:30........Sooo I guess if it goes OT, technically it could happen. However, the game is in LA, therefore it wouldnt be past midnight where the game was being played. LOL

^ Lol yeah it was a mishap. I just wanted to express my disdain for the game and didn't want to make a thread.

Kobe averages 19.2 shots per game for his career.

Lebron averages 20.8 shots per game for his career.

Who is shooting at an alarming volume?

Kobe was a bench warmer when he came into the league. LeBron has the been the go-to guy from the first day he stepped on the floor in the NBA.

Kobe averages 23.2 shots per game for THIS SEASON.

LeBron averages 20.1 shots per game for THIS SEASON.

Kobe is 1st in the league in shots taken by 1 over Melo and and Monta Ellis and by 2 over Wade and Durant, everyone else is by over 3.

Kobe also wasn't a starter his first two years in the league. Season by season comparisons of shot attempts tell a lot more than their career numbers.
