Team USA is 3-1 and will be wrestling for 3rd later tonight at 8pm (5pm central). I've been watching the live broadcast and it's been pretty good. Iran has been very impressive and is fun to watch.

Several Americans have looked pretty good - Metcalf, Burroughs and Foster have been the most impressive for the US.

I assume Burroughs has bounced back from his loss to Marable?

Burroughs was absolutely lights out. 3 pins 1 tech fall and a dominating 7-1 win over #2 in the world.
Clayton Foster looked good too, defeating the world champ from Ukraine and the world & Olympic bronze medalist from Iran.

Could be due to the World Cup being hosted in the US, but our team looked very good and nearly beat the Iranians.

US took 3rd against Ukraine 7-1.

I agree that the US team looked solid. I hope it has more to do with training than venue, but as you state, could be wrong. Here's hoping I can make the US Open!
