Umm...upsets happen, bro. This is sports. The best team doesn't always win (see OSU vs. VaTech earlier this year). And I'm not saying that you are the best team in the country without being the best in your conference. If the SEC teams think they are being treated unfairly, they are free to move to another weak conference. But really, if your team is not Alabama don't be surprised when you become a middle of the road team in another conference.

If the point of the playoffs is to put the 4 best teams into a playoff to determine a champion, then the 4 best teams need to go in regardless of conference affiliation.
So, in a conference like the B1G or SEC, where there are 2 divisions and not everyone plays each other, you can truly NOT be the best team if you are the runner-up? Who cares about second best team? The point of a championship is to determine the best team and we do that through a championship system. Almost worse than Marcus Lattimore's. He took a shot to the inner thigh, just as guy was pushing on his outer hip on the same leg. It was like pushing on one side of a twig at the top and the other side at the bottom at the same time. Awful. Depending where that break is, he's done forever.
