When the Browns do start to get good these threads will only have a few posters on them , The Doom & Gloom Guys won't have anything to bitch about

Don't kid yourself. The Browns could go 15-1 and IQQY would find his way on this thread to bitch immediately after that loss.

That actually would have been fun over the last few years to have a permanently disgruntled Oakland fan on this board (and the old Huddle). With the incompetence of Al Davis, the constant coaching changes, the reliance on reaching in the draft to get pure speed guys and so on, that dude would be pure comedy gold as he emotionally breaks down every single year.

We actually do have Raiders fan on this board (or used to), and he was actually fapping to the carson palmer trade. So, based on a sample size of 1, I am just going to say they are too delusional to be as depressing as IQQY.

They are trying to make it more competitive ( it simply could not be less)......honestly I'd rather watch a skills competition between Deion and Jerry.

Will see how the threat of cancelling it changes the effort.

Still does good ratings though and better than anything else ESPN would have on that evenin.

Early in the last couple of games even the defenders didnt want to make much of a tackle. They stand a guy up and hope the whistle blows.

Still tune in though and watch much of it. Hell, its sunday night, second to last football game of the season. Most times just watch and hope players from my team dont get hurt.

Its a gimmick, a way they can market the change and promote some teammates playing against one another.

WOnt necessarily make the game better or more competitive.

I’ll say this on the Cleveland Browns. Expect the unexpected,” said Schefter late Wednesday afternoon. “The Mike Pettine situation is going on, they’ve interviewed him twice. If they wanted to hire him they could just go ahead and do that and maybe they still will.


“But me reading between the lines, they’re hopping around, they’re interviewing other candidates, they’re bouncing around the country. I think if Pettine were their guy it would just be over and done with. And the longer it goes on the less likely in my mind that Pettine becomes the guy.


“I think he’s in play clearly. I think I would categorize him now as a fall back option. I think they’re looking at other things. They’re interviewing other candidates. They spoke to Dirk Koetter this morning. They’re continuing to reach out to people.


“But the one thing I will say is expect the unexpected. If you think it’s going to be Mike Pettine. If you think it’s going to be Dirk Koetter, get ready for that curve ball.”

Per ESPN

The Cleveland Browns' head-coaching search is down to two finalists, and the team's brass is expected to meet with each Thursday before selecting its hire, league sources told ESPN.
League sources believe Bills defensive coordinator Mike Pettine has emerged as the favorite, though Cleveland has not made any decision yet.
The Browns also spoke Wednesday morning with Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter, sources said.

Apparently that un-named candidate is Schiano. Yeah, just hire Pettine and get it over with. I will be livid if Schiano is hired.
