The underhanded flip versus Detroit is still the dumbest play I have ever seen.

Best play he made was kicking the ball out of the endsone for the safety.

Me too. Not necessarily the pick, but if they are in love with one of the top QB's he would be available, and wouldn't need to trade around.

Would rather get another WR or wait and get one in the second. Give me yankey there instead of Benjamin.

Yea, I didn't really look at that, just the scenario of the first 4 picks.

Any chance the Browns go after Hakeem Nicks or Chris Johnson?

I haven't heard any connections, but Johnson said he'd take a paycut to be traded, and Nicks was really really good a few years ago (horrble last year).

I've admittedly seen little of Benjamin. Bascially only the championship and whatever highlights on ESPN. I like his size, but people say hes got the dropsies. Is he another Greg Little or Braylon Edwards?

Hard to say. Little is in a class of his own because he learned the position on the fly in college after converting from running back. Not excusing his drops, but it would probably look worse if a real receiver was that bad.

I guess it depends on if you think reducing drops is teachable. I don't think it is. Look at Calvin Johnson, dude has a ton of drops despite being the best WR in football.

It most certainly is teachable, but if a player is having ongoing drop issues at the professional level of his career then it becomes a headgame which really isn't something you can coach

I don't know much about Benjamin but saw he was a big boy. Really wish they would have went after Decker he would have been a perfect number 2. Hell Nicks would work too if he could stay healthy. That way we could go QB at 4 then either Oline safety LB CB with pick 26

I am trying to be patient with Farmer right now, but for God sakes can we do something to address some of the holes this team had?

Our 2 big FA acquisitions have been at spots that were not a real problem last year. Basically just a trade of DQJ & Ward for Whitnet and Dansby. Slight upgrades at both, but neither do anything to address an offense which was borderline unwatchable for much of last year.

We are sitting on the 2nd most cap room in the league, start using it. Don't let Tate leave without a contract. Find some real NFL caliber guards. Find a 2nd CB.

These are things that need to be done.

Waiting until the draft and hoping that 4-5th round picks will fill these holes is just a recipe for another 6-10 season and further swirling around the drain.

For the love of God what does it take to get someone with a sense of urgency into this town?

Denver goes to the SB bowl last year and can't add guys fast enough. We are coming off like 6 10+ loss seasons in a row and we are still in the slow and steady mode. It just defies logic.

Lol. You have no idea who or what Farmer has tried to do. It's not like most guys are excited to come play for Cleveland. Sure, money talks, but most of your top guys already have money and want to play on winning teams. You don't know whether or not Farmer has attempted to address other issues or not.

Iggy please. Both signings were upgrades to the positions we lost and better value. Free agency isn't over and we still have the draft. Shut the fuck up and take a xanax
