Soccer is for 8 yr olds from Dublin, it definitely is not Olympic worthy.

But baseball & wrestling are not good enough. IOC is a bunch of ****s.
1. Baseball is my favorite sport, I played it all the way through college.
2. Baseball should be in over many of the sports you mentioned.
3. Basebasll should NOT be in if it meant wrestling was out. I hated wrestling in HS but wrestling was part of the original olympic games in freaking Greece, it is pretty much the world's oldest sport. There is honestly not a sport out there that should be in the summer games MORE than wrestling. It is the top of the list, period.

You do realize that most top tier college wrestlers now go into professional MMA, meaning they are going into professional leagues with the best going for world titles?

Good post....a little surprised by your soccer opinion but you explained it.

I would like to see baseball and softball just because I like both....but in the Olympics they won't get the best American players and the WBC kinda already takes care of this need. Softball is ridiculously not even in talent. There are about 4 teams that are Olympic worthy and the others hope not to lose 27-0 in 5 inn.

With all of that nucular waste dripping in the sea over there, they will need some protection fron Fagzilla.

The arguments against baseball and softball are decent though -- not enough nations really play them in order for them to be competitive through a "world" competition.

That's definitely not the same for most other sports within the Olympics.
