Correct order should be:

1. Children
2. Country

Notice religion is not on the list.

I don't see myself dying for our country in our current condition. I can't split the government from our country.

Just joining the military to do whatever the President says is not, in this case, dying for your country. But, if we were being attacked then I think many would defend. Does that change your thinking?

I'll die for my freedom. I'll die for my countrymen.

See above. I'll die for my countrymen, but at this point, I will not die for the America that America has become.

So, if another country attacked us on our soil right now, and we needed to fight alongside our military to defend, would you do it? Your answer isn't clear.

Yeah, I agree with this. No way in hell I'm joining the military to police the world and potentially die defending special interests. I would, however, die to defend my countrymen in the event of an attack on our soil. And I would die to defend my freedom against a tyrannical government. I consider these to be "dying for your country."

Yes, I would fight alongside our military. I would not defend one portion of our government, however. I'd surrender them to the enemy!

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.

What you’re willing to die for, depended on how you want to survive.

I’m willing to die for my country (not government) because country, all those thing I deem important in my life. Without this great country of freedom, prosperity and independence I would not be who I am and enjoy the life I have. Country is where family and friends gather, where my family will grow and prosper, where freedom to voice opposition, where the independency to make choices of my own free will exists. Country is you and I and the faces, places, ideas and things around us … that what I’m willing to survive for.

Would I be will to die for religion .. No .. I would give my life for God

My order:
Family (not just children but my fiancé, Mom, and Brothers, Niece and Nephew.
Country - Whatever you think of our Countries current situation I'm still proud to be an American.

I would not die for reliegous as I believe in God but, I think things like the Bible and Koran are just really good fiction story books.

...yeah I didn't think so either assholes.

They ARE dying for a worthless govt., though. We need to get the f*ck out of there. We got ring leaders in Sadam and Osama. Bring 'em home.

I support the troops so much that I don't want to send them to die in misguided wars for a government that no longer represents the people and I'm the asshole? Okay.

Soldiers die because they are soldiers they understand the risk and committed to the danger, having a duty to serve their country.
Honor, pride and commitment something some of you will never comprehend because you never been forged by combat. Will to defend what you think but never really knowing what makes a man answer the Call to Duty. What is that country that soldiers are so willing to defend? … before you answer that question. Ask yourself what is Country to you and would you defend it?

You think those guys don't know or feel when their supposed countrymen are more or less saying "hey man I support you but what you are doing is a waste."?

When they ALL finally do get home then it's time to re-examine how they got there and what they did while they were there. Until then they are America and that includes everything about America...even the Govt.

I enlisted a few years ago and will go anywhere the CIC, whomever it may be at any given time, would send us. If it would be Syria or any other place in the Middle East, so be it. If it would be Afganistan. So be it.

That is just how it is. There are a few cowards out there who enlist and try to back out. One just did a few months ago and won his hearing to not have to go. I would die for pretty much anyone except for the cowards who don't live up to their oath.

With that said...Go America, and God Bless The U.S.A

Sure they can. But hell, a lot of the soldiers don't support why they are there.
