You have a guy like Chisenhall who can't even hit his own weight, so tell me again why he isn't sacrificing the runner to second with nobody out?

it was a text book situation. hell, even after that, if there was no one else who could pinch hit for Stubbs, I would have him bunting too! atleast so he can put the ball in play and maybe beat out the throw. that was piss poor managing at the end of the game.

Druby is killing us :( bases loaded... You can almost always count on him swinging first pitch. I can't even begin to count how many DPs hs hit into with the bases loaded

The amount of ABs with runners on and his LOB numbers must be staggering.

Let one get away......left that game not very happy.

13,300 in attendance to see the only team in Cleveland that has a chance at the playoffs.....70,000 down at the lakefront to see the pathetic start of another losing football season. Nice pick bone heads.

....yeah, I'm kinda crabby tonite.

Gee...I wonder which game is more entertaining to people in Cleveland. It's not about who has a better chance of winning but which is more entertaining.

It ain't even close and never will be.

Have to admit...I was checking the baseball scores but watched football all day. Only 17 glorious Sunday's for NFL football a year.

Looks like I didn't miss much in Cleveland. Still a winning series but that was one that we needed to get.

WC
Rangers +3
Rays -
Tribe 2GB
O's 2 GB
Yankees 2.5 GB
Royals 3.5 GB

Big week this week. Tribe starts 3 with KC tonight while the O's will play 4 with NYY starting tonight. Hopefully they split and we win the series and pickup a game on each. Rays are off today so a chance to cut it to 1.5 tonight with a win and they have smoking hot Boston coming to town tomorrow.

yep.

The Tribe will draw about 1.4 million over 6 months in 81 home dates. The Browns will draw about about 750,00 over 4 months in 10 home dates( including the 2 exhibition games that they rip season ticket holders off with).
Gee...I wonder which game is more entertaining to people in Cleveland.
Yikes! what does that say about us?

It says which sport is more popular. There's also a supply limitation as previously posted regarding opportunities to see it.

I don't know about you guys but the NFL experience in stadium doesn't really do it for me. I usually go to one game a year (a Lions game of all things because I get a free ticket and great seats). But if you combine all of the standing around during TV timeouts plus the fact that you miss every other game...really isn't that great.

When I drive up to Cle to partake in a few Tribe games a year, I get to sit and watch the game with no replays of close plays and no cell phone service(with Verizon). Or I can stay at home, see every replay I want, not pay $20 to park, $40 on food, and I can turn the channel when the game Fatdrubel grounds into a DP with RISP.
