I'll admit that I've never really paid attention to the Junior Olympics rosters before, but do college bound kids typically participate?

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang!!!!!!!!!!! Gusan will have his work cut out for himself! (That's a joke. He's listed as a heavyweight. I doubt he's above 285. However, a few of the others listed might be fighting the scale!)

I don't think any wrestlers who play football or baseball are on that roster, but like I said it's still a very good roster. Good luck everyone !

I agree, some of those dudes did some cutting for this one. lol

For those not familiar with JO's, there is one weigh-in for the whole week. They weigh- in on Sunday night.

I meant several high caliber kids are competing that aren't mentioned on that website with the "team ohio" kids listed an yes there are football players wrestling

Shaker Lenaé goes 3 and 0 for day 1. At least that's what the text said. Best of luck to him and the test of Team Ohio!

ps: Shaker bumped up to 120 for unspec-didn't make 113-ified reasons.

Shaker Lanae' went down today. He sent me a text message to inform me of the bad call. ;)

But other than that, he's doing great. Here's to hoping the rest of the team is as well.

I have some team updates and individual results for Hayes' guys:

Ohio Gray 9-1 (Sierawski 9-1, Martinez 7-3)
Ohio Scarlet 9-1 (Wright 4-4, Brusco 10-0, Richard 4-6)
Ohio White 5-5 (Simpson 4-6, Johnson 6-4)
Ohio Black 2-8 (Brockett 3-7, Dydek 4-6, Beyer 1-9)
There is an Ohio Blue team, I am unsure of their current record.
As always, great competition at this event. I wish I had individual results for all OH boys. They're making a great showing.6

Junior Olympic Final Results (again, I only have individual results for Hayes' guys):

Ohio Gray 6th place (Sireawski 13-3- Copper Medalist, Martinez 11-5)
Ohio Scarlet 8th place (Wright 5-4- Copper Medalist, Brusco 14-1-Silver Medalist, Richard 7-8)
Ohio White 6-9 (Simpson 7-8, Johnson 9-6)
Ohio Black 4-11 (Dydek 8-7, Brockett 6-9, Beyer 3-12)
