It goes both ways..people leave because of assholes. People leave because of poor moderation. 1beast hardly posted outside of the HS forum except for his drunk late night postings here and there. Mr. Miyagi kept his postings to the Browns thread. BRF is actually still around, and as far as I know we still get along. Great contributor to the tribe threads.
Basically what happened is there was some controversey with the voting for the GOAT competition assembled by snot. I ended up winning and 1beast QQ'd. So, everyone on the WCF vowed to only post on the HS forum. The best part about it, mr. miyagi pm'd me the whole tiem during the voting and said nobody likes 1beaast LOL. After that event, Something happened on the HS forum involving gochiefs moderating, and gochiefs hurt 4ringz feelings so 4ringz took his ball and went home and others followed.
