Actually, most truss systems are designed to hold over 55 lbs per square foot.

The caddy has a length of 17 feet and a width of 7.

7x17=119

119 x 55 = 6545 lbs

Caddy with leather trim weighs 5450 ....... No sweat

Nice analysis, except you are ignoring that maybe 2/3 of the weight of a car is in the front 1/3 with the engine block and front axle....distributed equally across a square foot for each front tire?

Actually, looking at the pic it's a nice physics problem - that cement wall appears to be supporting a lot of the cars weight.

I also voted for slant eyed asian because it seemed like the least plausible; which in essence makes it the best choice for a contest like this.
