If the Browns were looking for a "backup of the future" I'd bring him in for a look (since he's free now) and dump Weeden or Campbell. No way in Hell his sorry ass competes for a starting job though.

If I'm J'ville I take a flyer on him. There almost no way he's worse than Gabbert if he's playing and able to shot put a ball down the field in any capacity.

I'm pretty sure Jacksonville fans would take anyone to be their starting QB over Gabbert including weeden freeman and Kenny guiton

He should be better than what the Giants have. It's just funny because NYG cast off Chase Blackburn who signs with Carolina and beats out Beason for PT. Could have just resigned him and saved a draft pick for a lesser LB.
