#1) I get that this can get confusing. It has been discussed since the first year of the weight certification process.
#2) I think we all recognize that (at this point) this conversation has less to do with one wrestler than it does the entire weight cert. process.

One last point: It is very important for coaches to pay attention to the weights of their kids during this weekend of wrestling. League championships, state duals, one last tournament, etc...
If a coach lets a 182 pounder wrestle up to 195, it's important to remember that a kid can only lose 1.5% of his body weight per week. For that event, for the that weigh-in, being below 186 or 187 is a must!
Or, as GregHines and the snuggly one pointed out, are people really looking in to this THAT much!?!?!?!
