Andy Reid is on the verge of agreeing to take over in Arizona ESPN and others are reporting.
Some outlets are reporting that Heckert could be joining him as GM, although others including the PD are denying that half.
ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms reports that Andy Reid is close to becoming the Cardinals' next coach, with one source putting the odds at "95 percent."
Schefter and CBS Sports' Jason LaCanfora both expected the hiring to be announced by the end of the week. In fact, one NFL source tells the Philadelphia Inquirer that it's "already a done deal." Although multiple outlets claim that ex-Browns GM Tom Heckert could reunite with Reid in Arizona, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that move is "very unlikely." There's also been plenty of speculation that Pat Shurmer and Brad Childress, former head coaches who worked under Reid in Philadelphia, could join the offensive staff. Jan 1 - 4:41 PM
