Gotta believe Brian Kelly will get a call from someone as well. Of the two, Kelly is probably more likely to bolt imo. Just don't see Saban returning to Cleveland.

Jimmy told Kelly to piss off, sounds like...

Browns thought they had Chip Kelly, and I'm told the team isn't happy with how Kelly has handled himself. But they shouldn't be surprised.

Not sure why Zimmer isn't mentioned more.

And if he resigns with Oregon for about $5 more a year.......we'll yeah, teasing douche fucker.

He definitely exerts the slimy quality.
I think it was, and it was more of his agent playing games. Now that Haslam told him to eat shit, he has no leverage with the Eagles and may be forced back to Oregon if he wants more money (which I doubt he minds either, that's still a pretty solid "worst case scenario")

He has to be careful, as this is 2 straight years of blowing off NFL teams after interviewing (potentially), so he may burn all of his bridges here soon.

Right I heard some rumbling about that. Though Brian Kelly has been quoted saying he has the best job in the NFL, college, high school or whatever. But you can't trust a coach as far as you can throw them.

I really am not interested in Ken Winsenhunt at all.. Honestly I have no idea which direction they turn. They haven't expressed interest in Arians, Lovie.

I do give reps to Haslam for telling Kelly deuces and we are out.

He signed a contract extension and already said he wasn't going any where.

Whisenhunt has been my top choice from the get-go... Still hope he gets hired here.

He would've been on everyone's list, but he isn't interested in leaving Stanford.

Still have no idea why Zimmer's name hasn't been mentioned. He is the best choice out of the current coordinators imo.

Why are some people so high on Wisenhunt? He hasnt won anything without Warner. And he only went a measly 9-7 the year they made the Superbowl run.

Kelly was Haslam's third choice anyways. I think they were pretty close to getting Gruden but he will probably never coach again.

He was put in a bad situation in Arizona. The QB situation sucked and so did the RB situation.

I think he'd be able to better utilize the talent here. There are numerous examples of coaches who struggled in their first stop and really came through in their 2nd... There are also several coaches in the NFL who you could say "they haven't won anything without "x" player"

No clue. I want nothing to do with the guy. Zimmer is a great option. I think he is the main reason for Cincy's success. Not only that, but the Browns defensive personnel is the same style as Cincy. Linemen depth. On top of hiring a good coach, we would also be taking a division rival's best asset. Wins all over.

Also, for anyone who actually wanted Marrone, here are his 4 seasons at Syracuse:
Syracuse Orange (Big East Conference) (2009–present)
2009 Syracuse 4–8 1–6 T–7th
2010 Syracuse 8–5 4–3 4th W Pinstripe
2011 Syracuse 5–7 1–6 T–7th
2012 Syracuse 8–5 5–2 T–1st W Pinstripe
Syracuse: 25–25 11–17
Total: 25–25

It wouldn't let me type after pasting that table, but excuse me while I lmao at Marrone. 25-25 after 4 years in the joke of the big east. That's just piss poor at best.

His QB situation will suck in Cleveland as well, with no Fitzgerald to go to. I remember this year he benched Skelton for Lindey or whatever his name is...when they were winning.

Haha yeah that was worst than anything Shurmur would have done... You're up 13 on the last undefeated team in the NFL and you bench your starter for a rookie who's never played.

If I were Browns I'd go after Arians or Zimmer.

He was a good coordinator with the Steelers and has that Cowher chin. He looks the part better than he plays the part.

Why isn't Lovie Smith the big fish? That guy really is a tremendous coach, especially compared to Andy Reid, who maybe was the worst coach in the NFL the last 2 seasons. I mean he mismanaged that talent so horribly it's unbelievable, and his coaching staff was an utter joke because of him. If I'm the Browns I go for Lovie all day

Last year they would have made the playoffs if Cutler doesn't get hurt. This year was just bad luck that a 10-6 team missed the playoffs
