Okay chief I'll make sure to do total due diligence when responding to your posts, especially when they talk about how our organization is throwing in the towel on winning this year. :rolleyes:

I think they're stock piling picks to potentially trade up for their QB of the future if Weeden doesn't pan out.

This, give me teddy. He would fit norv's system perfect

Surely I'm not the only one that is tired of this "next year" shit. We all know by now that "next year" just turns into "next year"

Well yeah of course we all want to win now. But unfortunately this franchise hasn't made the right decisions. They aren't winning. There isn't a button they can press that will make them a contender right away. I know you bring up the seahawks and other teams that have turned it around. But they happened to have pieces in place (mainly QBs) that allowed them to do so. The browns don't seem to have that and the FO feels stocking up on picks next year is the best move.

Don't mind the trades. We aren't making the playoffs next year, and if we do, two picks wouldn't make the difference. We are going to have a bunch of picks next year which will allow us to move up in rounds if we want. Maybe the talent just isn't there for then, and moving up an enter round next year is solid compensation. Don't forget we added Bess and Gordon was huge value compared to 6th pick in this 2nd round

I know we don't really need another OLB, but I'd still like to grab Cornelius Washington. #82 overall player by NFL draft scout, #54 in Mayock's top 100, has been Kiper's BPA for awhile now. Wonder why he's slid so much. Never really put up numbers but he's a physical freak.

Shapanetti @Shapanetti
If you go to a Pilot, look by the beef jerky rack and you'll see one of the Browns 7th round picks for sale.

@FredGreethamOBR #Browns fans have to look at draft this way: 1-Mingo 2-J Gordon 3-L McFadden 4- D Bess 4&5- 2014 extra 3rd & 4th

I'm OK with that. Not jumping for joy, but definitely not upset.

I have a feeling Browns are going to make some kind of push next year for a big trade up. I could see two 1sts or two 2nds along with their own 1st. All these draft picks they are stockpiling for next year (and in relatively valuable rounds) just seems like they will want to make a play to get 3 really high picks next year.

When I see "need QB" on the ESPN draft board, and Dysert as the second best available overall, I get nervous that they're about to do something really bad...

Apparently he missed 10 games last year with an Achilles.

Tried to get a medical hardship to go back for a sixth year in 2013 but was denied.
