The woman who hid in a closet for four hours, without even peaking out to see if there is anything that could be done, well, that is very hard to fathom. I am not saying I would have ran through the halls like Rambo searching for first blood, but if you work at the school and know that there are 75 to 100 innocent, helpless children at risk, it's sort of your job to find out what's going on. You signed up to help these kids.

I'll respond by saying the entire basis of the USDA's health guidelines are wrong. Michelle Obama, while her heart is in the right place on this issue, is wrong. The answer has nothing to do with behaviors of people, amounts of activity, etc...it's the quality of nutrition. It's failing. This is an excellent point - fortunately we haven't had any experience with in our immediate family and friends with these mental issues, but I can't imagine the emotional and physical fatigue that a parent has to endure with a child like this.
