All the intel and run up to the war was suggesting Iraqi still had a massive complex WMD program that was growing, and a nuclear program. (Which, there was no active nuclear program.)
That has turned out to be false.
The "takeaway" that most people got out of all the talk of WMD was that this was this was the only justification for going to war, and that since Hussein did not have WMD the war was unjustified. The fact is, that there were many reasons for taking out Hussein, the liklihood of WMDs being only one of them. The administration had decided weeks earlier that Saadam had to go...troops were mobilized and positioned and the hope was that they could force him into exile. Regardless, he was non compliant with the Gulf treaty, constantly pushing and testing the no-fly zone, stalling inspectors, end running sanctions.....in general being a source of instability that the U.S could not live with. The media seized upon the WMD report, and the administration went with it...certain that Hussein had WMDs...which is now proved to be true. The war would have happened anyway, whether or not there were WMDs. the report only disarms the people that accuse Bush of 'lying'.

I've stopped bitching about Obama and his administration's "insert word here" several shenanigans ago. At this point I don't hardly know which jackassery is worse, so I'll just group them all into that label. Suffice to say that I'm just counting down the time until he is OUT.

Your President believes your children should be raised by highly trained daycare workers instead of their mothers. This way, the mothers can continue to work while strangers have their children's attention for nearly 50 hours per week. And where does the money come from to run these super-efficient highly qualified daycare emporiums? Hmmm??

The lying King is sending 1500 more troops to Iraq. But their boots will not touch the ground. Apparently, Barry has ordered 1,500 of the Marty McFly hoverboards to keep their boots elevated. Oh wait, they're going to provide "advice and training" to the impotent Iraqi military. Yep... the same military that gave our armaments to the invading ISIL horde. These 3000 boots won't be part of any offensive movements sez the CIC...AND you can keep your healthcare plan if you want it.

The amazing thing to me is not that Republicans won big, but that 35% + still voted Democrat! Whether you agree with the politics or not why would you vote for anyone that has such disdain for the electorate that they would willing be dishonest.

Not one Republican voted for it and virtually every Democrat did support it. Using their architect's thesis that you have to be ignorant and dumb to like it, what's that say for all of it's congressional voters?

2012 premiums went up 45%...we switched to a lesser plan and an HMO and the increase was only 17%
2013 premums went up 6 % and we stayed put.
2014 premiums went up 40 % but would include a slight upgrade to a "Gold rated plan" or we could accept a slight dowgrade to "silver" at 30%. We moved one elderly worker to medicare and covered her premiums and saved enough that we could afford the "silver" plan.
