Apparently Joe Biden continues to be just as charitable as ever. It is his money and he is in his right to spend it where he chooses - but sheesh.

Now now...he's VERY generous with other people's money. The few bucks of his own that he could give to charity pales in comparison to the massive wealth he can expropriate and redistribute as a politician.

As for me, considering 47% of the country pays no income tax I consider the large checks I write to the US Treasury to be charity.

But when you try to deduct them on your return as a charitable contribution you get a circular reference. :)

Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill reported a gross income of $385,072 and paid $87,851 in federal taxes in 2012. They gave just $7,190 to charity – including donations valued at $2000 in furniture, household goods and exercise equipment. That totals about 2 percent of their 2012 income.

^^^

Almost posted that on my Obamacare thread.

To be fair the bill exempting legislators and aides has 0% chance of passing.

It's long past time to regulate 80% of lawyers out of business before they devour us with their BIG government. The tables must be turned.

I'm shocked - SHOCKED - I tell you that our wise and benevolent Congressional leaders and the Barry Administration are having secret talks to exempt themselves and their trusty aides from ObamaKare.

Apparently they finally read was in it.

They really should eat their own cooking. The people want national healthcare, but this legislation is an absolute disaster.
