Pretty early, but oh fucking well. Anybody interested in doing a big money league-- like $100 buy in? Nothing less than $50.

That would be up to popular opinion. Usually my leagues are 12 teams, yahoo, basic scoring (fumbles, ints, and defensive pts have moved by a point or two in the past if agreed upon, nothing big), 4 or 6 playoff teams whichever is voted, no games the 17th week, top 3 are paid and the % vary on whats voted. I go through fantasysportsvault for dues, never had a problem. Nothing drastic, try to keep it basic, but like a league that's majorily agreed upon-- certainly not a take it or leave it league.

Im down. 100 might be a little steep. But 50 would be good. I like the sound of your rules. Im out if we go to crazy though, if Im playing for more money, I want it to be pretty standard.

12 teams is perfect. 10 is too little and 14 is a lot (though 14 is better than 10). I also prefer 6 teams in the playoffs, with top 2 getting the bye. Makes it more interesting and keeps guys from quitting at the end of the year when there are 2 more spots open.

I could be interested. It depends. I've been on the waiting list to get into a 12 team league with a $265 buy-in. This could be the year I get in and I should find out soon.

If I get in that I will be fine but if not I will be looking for a higher stakes league. I would be fine with the $100.

My best guess is that it's going to be a $50 league. With that said, I might create a high stakes league for $200 to feed my craving.

I really prefer yahoos fantasy set up. Last year I moved our money league to yahoo for the first time and 8 out of the 10 owners preferred yahoo. Just curious about what you like more about espn

I used yahoo for the last 5-6 years, and the analysis and predictions are god awful. Like seriously god awful.

I like ESPNs trophy system much better for leagues that are trying to start a tradition.


I just think yahoo hasn't changed at all in the last 5 years and ESPN has overtaken it.

I may be interested again as well. I had such shitty luck last year. Is it the same league jpake? I think I got an email to rejoin.

Also, I agree with all of Laley's post in terms of the setup.

Laley: I've got 11 signed up right now. But that'll change to 10 since my buddy is getting married. He wants a 9/3 draft, but it won't be voted on. Pick6 says he's in, just needs to sign up.

Terry: That works for me. I told guys I'd like dues in by Sunday 8/26 just in case nobody pays I have time to find somebody else. I'll send a PM with the league ID and password.

If Pick6 and Terry join, that should be a 12 pack. Pick6 and Terry; don't worry if you go to sign up and there's already 12, I still have to remove my buddy.

Its filled. However, a friend needs replaced and theres 2 random guys that are about to be booted bc they didn't pay yet-- they have short leashes since theyre completely random. I'm saving spots for a friend, pick6, and yourself if you want in. Dues are due in the next few days.

I haven't forgotten to pay, just paying tomorrow since that's when I get paid. Just replaced my AC so funds are tight but there's still room for fantasy football, lol.

No worries man, you communicated that with me. Did you at least get that email with the link to LeagueSafe to sign up? My fiance got it, but two guys told me they didn't which I'm not really buying since I know for a fact somebody else did. If you didn't, then maybe some people just aren't.

I just went through my e-mails and didn't see one for LeagueSafe, but if they sent it to my Yahoo e-mail I'm sure I didn't get it because my account was de-activated or something. I got it set up again and have just one e-mail in there, the opening e-mail, so if it's re-sent I'll let you know when I get it. I even checked my spam folder for Gmail and it wasn't in there. Let me know when it's re-sent. Thanks man.
