Haha yeah that was definitely a travel at the start, but it was against Jiri Welsch, and he deserved anything he had coming his way. Damn what an awful basketball player.2quik4u wrote:He moved 70 feet in two dribbles lolIronman92 wrote: I've read much of this but didn't read it all...but
Both teams should've been warned or whatever with about 4 minutes left in the game......any borderline fans will quit watching the NBA with that crap going on.
lol on the Kobe steal with about 3:30 left he got the ball about 15 feet from half court....and didn't dribble the ball until about 5 feet on the other side of half court..I replayed it and he took a 4th step before the ball hit the court...lol
As for the game today, can't really ask for anything more from the Cavs. Did what they had to do at both ends of the floor. Mo continues to thrive in the big games this year. It's been pretty simple this year with him, the only game the Cavs won where he didn't play that great was the win at home against Phoenix at the beginning of the month and even then he had some big shots to put it away in the 4th quarter. LeBron's obviously the key to this team but the Cavs will HAVE to continue to see the production out of him come crunch time for this team to have success.
The bench continues to completely go above the standards I had set for them. People are acting surprised by Moon's performance today but he's came up with some big shots already in the 4th this season, just not to the extent he did tonight. Andy's been working his mojo on getting in opposing player's heads beautifuly these last few weeks, as I know he was able to do it with Amare earlier in the week, and it was absolutely huge with Odom today, someone that was probably the biggest crux to the Cavs last season. The bench has been playing so well that we haven't even had to have Gibson play AT ALL. I would like to see him implemented a little bit more but it hasn't really been necessary during this road trip. Definitely didn't need him today with the size the Lakers bring to the table.
Overall, it's not a crowning moment for the Cavs, far from it as in the long run this win won't really mean anything unless the Cavs get in a tight run for homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs. But J.A. Adande stated it well in his piece on the game, this is the measuring stick as to how well the Cavs can play. They're not always going to play that well, but it's good to know just how well you can play. It's a good thing to know for down the road.
