Let me spell it out for you...Sullinger, on defense and offense, isn't going to affect this game against UC down low. he has a very shitty vertical, and his only offensive move down low is to lower his head and go into players like retarded giraffe. Do you understand what I'm saying now or is sullingers penis clogging your comprehension skills too?

He has a jump shot and a jump hook and according to you and your brother he has a barrel move. That is 3.

If Gates doesn't block his shot, watch out for Justin Jackson to come out of nowhere for the swat. The dude jumps around like their like he is on a pogo stick and plays with a lot of energy.

This UC team has played against a lot of very talented big guys this year and won: Fab Melo (Syracuse), Simms (Georgetown), Gibson and James (Florida State), Drummond (UCONN), Deng (Louisville), etc. One of the best players on Texas was their 7'0 center Chapman.

I've also seen him go up and under, baby hook, spin off the block, etc.

I understand you guys don't like Sullinger, but don't let your dislike get in the way of what your eyes actually see. Unless....you don't even watch the games.

This game is not going to be decided on Gates v. Sullinger. The key to the game is going to be the likely matchups of D. Thomas v. Jaquon Parker and Craft v. Cashmere Wright.

Thomas' achilles heel is his defense. He might go off and score 25-30 points, but Parker has the ability to penetrate the lane and take the ball to the whole all night long. He can also stroke it from outside. It is possible Thomas gives up as many points as he can score on Thursday. Parker also rebounds very well for a guy his size. He actually out rebounded the trees Florida State had out there on the court (6'10, 6'11 and 7'0).

Cashmere Wright v Craft will be a fun battle to watch. Wright can take it to the hole or if he is on can light you up from downtown. The defensive battle will be fun to watch as well. Wright is now UC's all-time leader in steals.

I really do hope that the Cincy team thinks that Sullinger has "one post move" and single teams him all night. Should be easy if that's all he's got.

And I really do hope the OSU teams thinks Gates is "an underachieving thug". Should be no problem if he is such a slacker.

Don't see any reason why they would be ok sure....He'll block Sullinger multiple times, many guys have. Question is can he prevent Sullinger going back up with it again and again? Can he defend him with out getting into foul trouble? Is he willing to step out and stop Sullinger from knocking down jumpers? That'll be the key in that matchup. It's not like Sullinger hasn't faced big guys this season. We saw how he did against not only the dude from Gonzaga, but the Plumlees (7 footers).

IMO this game comes down to William Buford. If he chokes on applesauce with another 2-16 or whatever Sweet 16 performance then OSU will really have to work to win. If he can hit his shots and provide some quality defense then I think the Buckeyes win easily.

Gates also faced arguably the 2nd best post defender in the country in James from fla st. Gates can be dominate but cinci needs to run there offense through him. A lot of the times they don't even look his way. Sully will definitely need to play good d on gates but as we have seen he doesn't and fouls a lot. I could definitely see sully being in foul trouble early. If Ohio state rebounds like they did against gonzaga gates will eat up a lot of offensive put backs on Ohio st. It's too bad I gotta work Thursday it's going to be a damn good game. Killpatrick needs to bring his a game for cinci to win

Really surprised at all the Sully hate. He will get Gates in foul trouble early, basically making him a non factor in the game. And please don't put words in my mouth and make it out that I'm saying Gates is trash. Sully > Gates. Simple as that.

This is why I want to see more Amir Williams on Thursday. Sullinger is not a great defender. Williams is taller and longer than both him and Ravenel.

Its really not surprising. Even coming from some loser OSU fans on here. Some are so unrealistic with their expectations, its beyond ridiculous. Of course, all the UC fans are now coming out of the woodwork. Which isn't surprising now that they have made the sweet16. But whatever.
