Anyone know of any Head coaching positions that are/will be open for the 12-13 season?

I am almost positive hebron lakewood will have a head coaching position available.

I cant believe they (OHSAA) aloud him to coach in the post season. What message are they sending? Punish the athlete but the coach is ok to coach???

I've heard the opposite. Some coaches and officials were willing to testify in the wrestler's favor but Ohio High School had already made up its mind.

I was told that the official from the day the kid made scratch verified it but the OHSAA or whoever was in charge would not change their stance. If the official truly did back up the statement then a lot of people owe Coach Hammons an apology and some blame needs to be put on the other coaches who started the witch hunt.

I heard there were two other weigh in sheets given at Darby by other coaches that were identical and Hammons had an "altered" one. I don't know if this is true or not, just saying what I heard.

Not saying the official who confirmed it is lying, but wouldn't it be hard to remember one particular kid making scratch at a tournament. I assume the official weighed in 100+ kids that morning and also officiated several other tournaments and weighed in 100's of other kids. I know I wouldn't remember a kid making a particular weight. Again, not saying the official is lying, but throwing out my opinion.

Well said pinem07!!! As for "testifing" its not a court of law and from my understanding it would be hard to argue the fact that two weigh-in sheets from different schools read the same and Olentangy's reads different. Little strange to me. Just a shame all the way around!!!

On the college front, Clar Anderson resigned from his post as head coach at Duke University,
and North Carolina State University fired their Head Coach.

OHSAA posted additional openings
,Varsity Wrestling,
Meigs (Pomeroy) has the above positions available. All interested candidates are encouraged to submit a letter of interest and resume to Rusty Brookman, Superintendent, 41765 Pomeroy Pike, Pomeroy 45769. E-mail: [email protected].

I would imagine they probably are. I would say Eddie Cormier should give it a shot! He has been a long time Stallion and has great ties to this program. I know he was helping out with the middle school team last year.
