113!? no love for Chang kid was a SA at 112 last year, and now he is a BIG senior 113, got caught in his first match at Sections and came back to destroy the kid for 3\4

How is this a homer prediction? You don't emphasize who you think the top team is and I don't think I show any bias towards any team.

It wouldn't surprise me if Chang even made the finals. He could beat Davis then go on to beat Orr/Valenti.

I'm also confused on the McCurdy/Wilson situation. Wouldn't change a whole lot with my bracket as both of them would still make the semis, according to me. Can anyone clear that up?

There is no situation, McCurdy won and they have the brackets backwards. From what I have heard, being the #2 gives Wilson an easier road to qualify.

LOL you gave no love for the Marysville guys, i mean Boyd already thumped Luft this year, and you have him not even getting out? idk lol, im sure he is a Marysville guy... but i dont see anything other then you seem to be anti-Marysville

If you are referring to McCurdy/Wilson, we are trying to figure out why district brackets are wrong. I can assure you the bout sheet was checked at the end of the match. Seth was awarded first place at the end and even given a completed bracket with his name on it. This is not the only mistake. Delaware Hayes' 195lb'er lost in 3/4 place match but they have him taking third.

Agreed, I know its a tough weight and all, but I don't see Chang outside the top six.

No disrespect to Rooney, who definitely makes it through, but Mullucey was sick as a dog on saturday. Almost didn't make it through the first match. Don't count him out. Bottom bracket looks a lot better than the top. Rooney gets caught on the wrong side of the bracket. Penzone takes Rooney in semis. Mullucey beats Shoemaker in their semis and they finish, Penzone, Mullucey, Rooney and Kakos. Kakos is my sleeper. Should be two great days of wrestling.

Luft beats Boyd this time around. But Boyd drops down and takes 3rd here i believe. I really think he is the 2nd best kid but he will lose to Luft in the semis.

I like Luft, hes a great kid and a great wrestler, but, I think Boyd beats him again...at the same time though, I think Luft has more success at the state level..both are placers in my book, though.

I haven't seen Marysville wrestle at all this year and that probably effected my brackets a little bit. I have nothing against the program and believe they have been one of the best and most consistent programs in Central Ohio in recent past and don't look to be going away any time soon. I had Boyd getting 3rd, then changed it, then looked back and wondered why I changed it. 145 should be very exciting to watch and like I said originally, I wouldn't be surprised if my predictions were completely off. As for any other Marysville kid, I just like Ryan over Forrider in a very close match.(A little biased as I know Jake pretty well but could see that match going either way) Thirkfield just gets put in a tough situation with Fleming as a second match and having to battle all the way back on Saturday. Tough and do-able, but my bracket doesn't have him getting out.

As for Chang, his record is a bit deceiving and is a very tough kid. One of the bigger 113 pounders for sure, but could that hurt him. Is watching his weight going to effect the way he wrestles on Friday night? Looking back on my bracket now and looking at some recent results, I probably should have him at least placing but thats what the actually wrestling is for.

I try not to be biased Dirty but Teays is my team, I know what they can do and how good travis luft really is. He seriously has the strongest grip ive felt. Next time you see him at a tournament go up and shake his hand. Let him grab your wrist and i promise you will not get away. lol.

Man....I love all this Darby talk... just wish my son had 1 more year left:) It would have been a MAJOR blast being part of the so aptly named "Friday Night Fireworks"!! I think this week is the tops....can't wait to experience the thrills/spills this weekend!!

Haha good stuff! Bringing in Olentangy Bradley and Canal makes this district more interesting even without the Dayton sectional. That area is down a bit so it would have been interesting to see what would have happened.

D4S I would have liked to see Brady at Darby last yr instead of being at East.
