I guess it is a matter of semantics.....in the end it doesn't matter....1 point penalty....tie score. The Reynoldsburg kid was stalling like crazy at the end. Of course, I look through maroon colored-glasses. However, I do think it was the proper call to send that match to OT....
I think a lot of people take circling/motion the wrong way (especially in tight matches). Its a type of set up...circle..fake..circle..fake...SHOT. In my opinion, its less stalling than standing in the center, attempting to tie up and or waiting for their opponent to take the first shot or make the first move, especially when the motioning wrestler takes 90% of the shots in the match AND SCORES, lol. I'm not only speaking of this match in-particular, its an issue I've seen many times over the years, and its very unfortunate, especially when fans/parents begin to speak (or yell) their minds to the refs in hopes of getting that point for their kid, It's unfortunate that some people don't appreciate other teams/wrestlers styles, but hey, we're all guilty of it at some level I'm sure! Keep in mind, as I said before, I'm not just speaking of this match alone, just collective observation over a long time.
